The purpose of the research is to determine the use of Wind Blows Game to develop the vocabulary of eighth grade students in MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang. The sample was selected using whole sampling because the researcher attended one class in the eighth grade in MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang. Pengaplikasian permainan Wind Blows untuk Mengembangkan kosakata siswa pada tingkatan kedelapan di MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang (Penelitian Pre-Experimental).

Tujuan-penelian ini for mixing pengaplikasian Game Wind Blows for mengembangkan vocabulary is a way to play MT's Bolaroman. Praise and gratitude for the presence of Allah SWT for all his mercy and guidance so that the researcher can complete the dissertation entitled “The application of wind gusts to develop students' vocabulary in the eighth grade of MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang” . Mahamuddin, S.Ag as principal of MT's Ma'arif Bolaromang who gave the researcher the opportunity to conduct this study in the school.

Big love to all the class VIII students of MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang who help the researcher to complete this research.

In conclusion, the researcher conducted a study titled "Application of Wind Blows game to develop students' vocabulary in eighth grade in MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang" to know the result in students' vocabulary development by applying the wind game. It can help them to know about students' vocabulary and develop by implementing the wind game. Habibah (2021) in her research entitled "The Effect of Boggle Board Game on Vocabulary Mastery of Eighth Grade Students of SMPN 10 Metro".

The indicator of this research was the development of students' vocabulary in the verbal and noun aspect by applying the wind game. The test was used to recognize students' vocabulary in terms of verbs and nouns. Improvement of students in the pre-test and post-test in terms of verb and noun.

She could finish her studies in 2022 with the thesis under the title "The Application of Wind Blows Game to Develop Students' Vocabulary at the Eighth Grade in MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang".

Vocabulary is one of the most important basic language components that we need to master. Fadhilawati and Mansur (2019) stated that vocabulary knowledge is important to help students master the target language they are learning. Based on the previous explanation, it shows that vocabulary is the most important aspect that we need to master when learning a language.

Based on the previous explanation, we can conclude that vocabulary is divided into two categories, each of which is divided into four parts:. listening, speaking, reading and writing. It proved that vocabulary is important to improve the four skills in English as a foreign language. It is clear that vocabulary is an important component of learning English, as vocabulary is used to communicate in English, whether spoken or written.

Vocabulary must be learned every day at school, because appropriate vocabulary is the source of excellent students (Alqahtani, 2015).

Student improvement X1: Average pre-test score X2: Average post-test score. The students' pre-test vocabulary score score was 52, while their post-test vocabulary score was 76 after the Wind Blows Game application. Regarding the verb, the frequency of the students' scale in the pre-test and post-test is presented in Figure 4.1.

Students' scores improved after using the Wind Blows Game, with the post-test being higher than the pre-test. The results of the pretest before using the Wind Blows Game showed that there were no students in the first three categories (excellent, early good, and good), and most students were in the two lowest categories (poor and very poor). It showed that there was a difference in students' vocabulary regarding the verb before and after the Wind Blows game was used.

The development of students' vocabulary is evidenced by the result of students' pre- and post-test scores.

FINDING AND DISCUSSION

Discussion

In this section, the researcher discusses her findings from applying the Wind Blows game to help students develop their vocabulary in terms of verbs and nouns during the teaching and learning process. Based on the findings, the students' post-test score was higher than their pre-test score. Wind Blows Game develops students' vocabulary because that game makes students happy, comfortable, enjoy learning and enliven the learning environment.

This indicated that there is a significant difference in the students' verb and noun vocabulary before and after the application of Wind Blows Game. This means Wind Blows Game was effective in developing students' vocabulary in terms of Verb and Noun at the Eighth Grade in MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang. According to the data analysis, the mean score of the post-test in the experimental class was 73.39, while the mean score of the pre-test was 65.15.

Based on previous studies, it could be concluded that play played a major role and was effective in improving students' vocabulary. The result of this study also showed that Wind Blows Game was effective in developing students' vocabulary in verbs and nouns. Wind Blows Game made students more involved and enjoy the teaching and learning process, so they could easily learn and remember new vocabulary.

The researcher applied Wind Blows Game in the teaching and learning process and was successful in developing students' vocabulary. The researcher found that before the application of Wind Blows Game, the students' average pre-test scores were extremely poor, but after the researcher applied Wind Blows Game, the students' post-test scores were good and excellent. As students have found repetitive vocabulary and searched for unfamiliar words through reading, speaking, writing and listening, using the Wind Blows game can help them memorize vocabulary and new vocabulary.

As a result, it can be concluded that students' vocabulary has improved after applying the Wind Blows game. It can be determined that the application of the game Wind Blows develops the vocabulary of students in the eighth grade in MTs Ma'arif Bolaromang.

Suggestion

Teachers can apply the game Wind Blows in the teaching and learning process because the game can help students in developing their vocabulary, especially in memorizing a new word. Because students' vocabulary competence is essential in the English classroom, the researcher proposed to apply Wind Blows game to learn English, especially vocabulary. They should be more aware to improve their English, especially the basic components of the language such as vocabulary, by applying the Wind Blows game.

Kompetensi Dasar Indikator Kinerja Kompetensi 3.2. teks dan unsur kebahasaan teks, interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulisan yang melibatkan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait. melakukan suatu tindakan tergantung pada konteks penggunaannya. Melalui serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode Wind Blows Game dan pendekatan saintifik, siswa Kelas VIII SMP/MT diharapkan mampu menghubungkan secara kontekstual fungsi sosial, struktur teks serta mengidentifikasi, menerapkan, mengorganisasikan dan melatih keterampilan linguistik. unsur yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan dan kemauan melakukan suatu tindakan yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan remaja di SMA/MT.

Siswa dan guru membacakan doa bersama sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur, lalu berpamitan. Kompetensi Dasar Indikator Ketercapaian Kompetensi 3.3 Pelaksanaan fungsi sosial, struktur. teks dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait kewajiban, larangan, dan pengaduan.

Melalui serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode Wind Blows Game dan pendekatan saintifik, siswa kelas VIII diharapkan mampu hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan urgensi, larangan, dan desakan yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan remaja SMP/MTs. Menjelaskan kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan dilaksanakan serta materi yang akan diajarkan berkaitan dengan kata kerja dan kata benda berdasarkan kurikulum. siswa mengamati dan menuliskan materi pembelajaran yang disampaikan guru. Siswa mendengarkan guru membacakan kalimat-kalimat yang berkaitan dengan kewajiban, larangan, dan anjuran. bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan tentang hal-hal yang tidak dapat dipahami mengenai kewajiban, larangan dan imbauan. Siswa mempraktikkan contoh kalimat yang dibacakan guru. Mintalah siswa menemukan kosa kata verba dan nomina yang berkaitan dengan kewajiban, larangan dan anjuran yang disampaikan oleh guru. Siswa mengolah kosakata kata kerja dan kata benda serta menggabungkannya.
