October 21 Art Walk to Feature Tour of
‘Path of the Teabowl’ Exhibit ALFRED – The October Alfred Art Walk, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 21, will feature a guided tour through the current exhibition at the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum, Path of the Teabowl at 5pm.

‘Iron Pour Meltdown’
The 14th annual “Iron Pour Meltdown” will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, at the Alfred University School of Art and Design’s National Casting Center foundry, below Binns-Merrill Hall, near the ceramic wood- fired kiln building.

Alfred University to host 'Path of the Teabowl' conference Oct. 22-23 The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum at Alfred University will host the online conference Path of the Teabowl Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22-23, in conjunction with the
exhibition Path of the Teabowl, currently on view at the Museum.
Wednesday Speaker Series: Fafnir Adamites
On Wednesday, October 27, at 7 p.m. in Holmes Auditorium, visiting artist Fafnir Adamites will present as part of the Wednesday Artists' Speaker Series. The lecture will also be broadcast on Zoom.

In conjunction with opening reception of Remote Connections exhibition in the Fosdick-Nelson Gallery, the Confucius Institute and Performing Arts Division at Alfred Univeristy presents the Alfred University Guzheng Ensemble 2021 Fall Concert, entitled "Melodies of the East."
The performance will take place on Friday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. in the Harder Hall Lobby.

University which is student-organized. The gallery is “student run, student envisioned”
and is open during the Fall and Spring
Fiat Festifall set for October 30 Student Activities Board and the Institute for Cultural Unity present Fiat Festifall on Saturday, October 30 beginning at 2pm under the big tent on the lawn at the Brick.
The event includes vendors, activities, film screening, pumpkin carving contest, food trucks, a costume dance and more. This event is free and open to the public.

The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum on Sept.
23 opened what Museum Director Wayne Higby describes as “the Museum’s most ambitious exhibition to date,” Path of the Teabowl, curated by Meghen Jones, Associate Professor of Art History at Alfred University’s School of Art and Design. The exhibit will run through Dec. 29.
