1. Please re-write in more detail the method how to prepare sample before and after irradiation, number of bags sample for each irradiation doses in order to make understand that the samples especially for samples stored for 2, and 4 months were not opened before used for parameter analysis to prevent recontamination after irradiation.
2. Are you grind the kernels just after irradiation for sample storage 2, and 4 months? If so, the recontamination of microbes probably occurred.
3.Let say that you have 2 irradiation doses (5 and 10 kGy) and one control and 3 storage duration (0, 2, and 4 months), and 3 replications. So you should have 27 samples.
Comment [sv1]: Strains
Comment [sv2]: Application (CIRA)
207 what does it mean?
213 Please explain why the population of C. Cladosporioides and P. Citrinum increase after stored for 4 months for samples irradiated at 10 kGy. While irradiation kill all microbes (0 population) 213-
215
Your explanation is not matching with the data in Table 1.
Look at the table, at 5 kGy and 10 kGy doses, (at 0 month storage duration), all microbes are killed excepted for A. flavus. This indicated that radiation is effective to kill A. niger, C. cladospioides, E.
chevalieri and P. citrinum.
222- 228
These data show that irradiation at 10 kGy is effective to kill all microbes (bacteria and fungi) except A. flavus

Final comments and recommendations:
In general, the article contains a lot of information on the application of gamma irradiation for decontamination of bacteria and fungi. However, it needs clarification especially in methods and some correction needed according to reviewer suggestions. It can be accepted for J AI after correction.
