The Purpose Of Speaking
They enable us to communicate verbally and intelligibly to the listener. According to Gronbeck in (Junaid, 2018), learning to speak is undoubtedly a greater challenge than learning to understand the spoken language, as it involves a sequential arrangement of tasks that requires effort from both the teacher and the students. The spoken language used in transactional and interactional conversation seems to have certain peculiarities. Clearly, accurate and consistent communication of information is essential in this type of contact, as is checking that the message has been understood.
Kingen in (Torky, 2014) combines transactional and interpersonal reasons for speaking into a comprehensive list of twelve categories in order to more thoroughly analyze speaking purposes. Students' perspectives can change from moment to moment and from week to week as they actively participate in speaking. They change their understanding because of the information communicated or received, adding to their schemas about language and the outside world.
For example, before speaking, the speaker can decide on the actual content of the message, how it should be delivered, and the type of audience that will hear it. After the speech, the speaker can take feedback, answer questions, clarify unclear concepts and/or evaluate his performance. Pre-speaking exercises encourage thinking and contemplation and give students a chance to organize themselves before speaking.
Students must participate in a variety of formal and casual speaking scenarios to interact and communicate with people. The teacher should be included in their reflection, whether oral or written, so that they can set individual goals for improving their speaking skills.
The Crucial Speaking Techniques to Master
Components of Speaking Abilities a. Vocabulary
Grammar mastery is extremely essential in the world of education, especially for high school students. They will face numerous tests, one of which will be English, with the majority of questions focusing on grammar. Since children are trained to categorize phonemes in their first language, it can be confusing when some phonemes are not in the students' native languages.
Students learn about graphemes, the letters and spellings that represent sounds in written language, in phonics, when they first begin to understand the connection between spoken language sounds and these sounds. As students progress through school and use and practice speaking skills every day, speaking skills increase naturally. Regular (and aloud) reading exposes children to new vocabulary and strengthens their understanding of spoken language, which is a wonderful technique for improving fluency.
Conversations with your students will be more engaging, stimulating and insightful as their English skills increase.
Blended Learning

- Blended Learning Has Both Advantages and Disadvantages When compared to traditional (face-to-face) learning and online,

- The Effect Of Blended Learning
Compared to fully online learning, Dziuban, Hartman and Moskal (Wasis 2018: 61) in (Sapti, 2019) found that blended learning has the potential to improve student learning outcomes and also reduce dropout rates. In Bonk and Graham Graham, Allen and Ure in (Istiningsih & Hasbullah, 2015) offer three definitions of blended learning: a mix of learning techniques, a combination of learning modalities and a combination of online learning and face to face. Therefore, it is clear that blended learning is a learning style that combines face-to-face learning with online learning.
The foundation for implementing blended learning that can be used as a guide is known as the Basic Elements of Blended Learning. According to Garham (Husamah 2014: 21) in (Sapti, 2019), the aim of the development of blended learning is to combine the best features of face-to-face learning in the classroom with the best features of online learning in order to increase student engagement in learning and reduce the time spent in face-to-face socializing in the classroom. The teaching technique should be thoroughly redesigned with blended learning in mind and have the following characteristics.
Blended learning, according to Dwiyogo (2018) in (Dwiyogo, 2018), is learning that combines different learning delivery techniques such as face-to-face learning, computer-based learning (offline) and e-learning . . Many studies have also shown that blended learning is superior to face-to-face or online instruction. Blended learning actually needs good internet access, and if the network is not good, it will be a challenge for students to engage in autonomous online learning.
According to Klimova et al. 2017) in (Quispe, 2023), blended learning is attractive because it has many advantages for the learning process, such as flexible teaching and learning (i.e. students can access their course materials at their own pace at any time and from anywhere, and teachers can students easily adapt to online content). Furthermore, blended learning is a technique that combines traditional classroom instruction with mobile learning and online activities to provide innovative educational solutions for students and teachers.
Previous Research
In the fourth sample, (Mega & Sugiarto, 2020) examined the relationship between English learning habit and confidence in English speaking skills in the promotion of tourism and local culture of Bangka Belitung. The research will be titled "Speaking Skills in Correlation with English Speaking Learning Habits and Self-Confidence of Vocational High School Students". Previous research has contributed to my understanding of how to assess the relationship between English learning habit and confidence in English speaking skills in promoting tourism and local culture.
The research of (Sapti, 2019), whose study is titled "Analysis Of Google Form-Based Blended Learning Models to Improve Student Learning Activeness", analyzed student learning activity using the Google form-based blended learning technique in the fifth sample. The contribution of previous research to my research is that I can see more how to analyze from Google form-based blended learning models to improve student learning activity. 34;The effectiveness of a task-based teaching program in developing the English speaking skills of secondary stage students", This explains how speaking skills can be improved for students in general.
Previous research has helped me understand how to evaluate the effectiveness of a task-based instruction program in developing secondary school students' English language skills.
Conceptual Framework
In this chapter, the author has outlined a technique that could be used to help fix the problem. 34; The Effect of Blended Learning Technique in Teaching English to Class XI Students of SMA HKBP Sidorame's English Speaking Students” is the title of this study.
Research Design
The researcher chose this study because she wanted to conduct multiple tests and see reliable findings, especially with the pretest (before treatment) and posttest (after treatment). According to the description above, it can be concluded that the quantitative experimental design is a teaching strategy that will compare the treatment of the students' results after the teaching is carried out using the blended learning technique. This will allow the writer to observe the progress of the students' ability to understand how to read speech after treatment.
Through testing, we will find out how blended learning has affected the students' speaking skills.

The Procedure Of Collecting Data
You can improve your education by studying hard so you can become a smart kid who can achieve your goals. Continue your studies and gain as much knowledge as possible to eradicate poverty and progress in Indonesia. Students took a post-test after the authors used blended learning techniques to elicit feedback from them.
Post-test results have a significant impact on whether blended learning affects students' speaking skills. After completing the pre-test and post-test, the writer would calculate the mean value of the data. When the mean test scores are compared with the pre- and post-test scores and standard deviation, there is a significant change.
If a difference between test means will the effect of therapy, it would be determined using the T-test formula. The aim of the study will be to evaluate the effects of the students' treatment by contrasting measurement data obtained after. The experimental data analysis will be followed by a t-test using pre-test and post-test techniques in statistical analysis.
MD : Mean difference (average value of the difference between the pretest and posttest scores). SDD : standard deviation of the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores.
Scoring of the Test
Grammar 5 The students has very good in grammar
Vocabulary 5 The students has board vocabulary
Fluency 5 Speech is understand
Validity and Reliability
- Validity
- Realiability
The "validity" of test or inventory data is determined by how it is interpreted and used for its intended purpose. How successfully test results were interpreted as a tool for evaluation will be used to measure the validity of the interpretation. This suggests that whether the measure is determined to be legal or not will determine whether the assessment's primary purpose is achieved.
Linking test findings to an external variable used to determine the quality under evaluation would be another factor to consider. The construct validity of a test, which is the third type of test validity, examines how effectively it measures a certain characteristic or concept. 2012:154) in (Zerizghy et al., 2009) state that reliability refers to the consistency of the scores obtained; how consistent they are for each individual from one administration of an instrument to another and from one set of items to another.
