I have a better understanding of different types of people and how to work with each type. It's more Kiwanis-oriented this year (than last year, I'm told), but it would be even more helpful. Kiwanis presentations, apparently originally geared toward corporate governance, have maintained interest and increased individual participation.
We as a club are not doing this now; it seems we have no general direction. It is of utmost importance that the manual be written in Kiwanis "language" rather than the original company language. The officers of Circle K International are the President, Vice President, Secretary and three (3) Trustees, the Trustee of Circle K International and District Governors. The Board of Directors of Circle K International: consists of the President, Secretary and nine (9) Vice Presidents; in addition, the Kiwanis ·advisor of Circle K International and the administrator of :ircle K International will serve as ex-officio members in the regular membership of the Board of Directors, except for the right to vote. The Board of Directors of Circle K International consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary and three (3) Trustees; next to ~. The Circle K International Kiwanis Advisor and the Circle K International Administrator shall be ex-officio members of the regular membership of the Board, except for voting rights.

PREAMBLE
Each committee shall consist of at least three (3) but not more than five (5) committee members. The Standing Committees are appointed by the President of Circle K International, with the advice and consent of the Board of Directors, with one member of each committee designated by the President to chair the committee. Each committee shall consist of at least three (3) but not more than eight (8) members of the International Council.
In the event of the inability of the President to perform his duties, the Board of Officers shall elect one of the Vice Presidents to perform the duties of and with the same authority as the President. They will attend the annual convention of Circle K International, as well as meetings of the Board of Officers and the International Council. The Foundation Board also understands the important role it plays in financing the many activities of the Kiwanis International Family. After discussion, committee members expressed their support for the decision as an important first step in strengthening international representation on the board. 34;Gil" Zitzelsberger reviewed the current status of the organization's appeal in the Third District Court.
The Kiwanis International Board of Directors should direct the staff to include articles on Kiwanis activities outside of North America in many future issues of KIWANIS Magazine. Newly elected President Frank reiterated President Don's statements regarding the committee's position regarding amendment no. Allen reviewed the current state of the recommendations proposed in the long-term Circle K study.
It is recommended and requested that the Board of Trustees keep the Committee of Past International Presidents periodically informed of the progress made in implementing the study's recommendations. The end result is a Kiwanis International:Boa.rd made up of the best leadership Qistricts can develop.
