Lieber, Suder, Scherer, Rath. – Turner
Vonnegut führte den Vorsitz.
Seminardirektor Rath berichtete über den
Sommerkursus. Im ganzen nahmen 63
Personen am Kursus teil, 57 im ersten und
60 im zweiten Termin; 13 waren Teilnehmer
am Sonderkursus für Turnlehrer zur Er-
langung des Titels G. G. Die Einnahmen
des Sommerkursus betrugen $927.38, die
Ausgaben $928.90; Defizit $1.52. Die Einnahmen
des Sonderkursus beliefen sich auf $206.53,
die Ausgaben auf $512; Defizit 305.47.
Beschlossen wurde, Wilhelm Kaufmann ein
Dankschreiben zu schicken für ein Geschenk
für die Bibliothek, sein Werk über die Be-
teiligung der Deutschen am Bürgerkrieg.
Die Administrativbehörde wurde ermächtigt,
Emil Trautmann, der seit zwölf Jahren als
Turnlehrer in Bundesvereinen tätig ist, den
Title G. G. zu erteilen, ein Turnlehrercertificat auszustellen, falls seine während
des Sommerkursus mitgemachten Prüfungen
zufriedenstellend waren.
Ein Dankschreiben der Klasse des Sommer-
kursus wurde entgegengenommen. Beschlossen,
dem Direktorium des deutschen Hauses und dem
Sozialen Turnverein Abschriften zuzustellen.
Auf Scherers Antrag wurde beschlossen, bei
den staatlichen Erziehungsbehörden von Ohio
und Illinois um Exemplare der Vorschriften
über “accredited schools” anzufragen.
Folgende Rechnungen wurden zur Zahlung
angewiesen:

The students of the Summer Session of
the Normal College of the N. A. G. U. herewith
wish to express their appreciation to the Faculty
of the College for their untiring efforts
and work done.
They also wish hereby to extend their
thanks to the directors of the German
House, as well as the Sozialer Turnverein
for the courtesies and privileges extended to
them during the course.

Meeting on

Turner Vonnegut chaired the meeting.
Dean Rath talked about the summer course. A total of 63 people attended, 57 attended the first session and 60 attended the second session. There were 13 participants at the special course for gymnastic teachers aiming for the title “G. G”. The contributions of the summer course were $927.38, the expenses were $928.90 and the deficit was $1.52. The special course brought in $206.53. The contributions of the special course were $206.53, the expenses $512 and the deficit was $305.47.
It was decided to send thank you note to Wilhelm Kaufmann for his gift to the library of his work about the participation of the Germans in the Civil War.
The Administrative Office was authorized to issue Emil Trautmann who has been working as gymnastic teacher in the national unions for the past twelve years the title G. G. a Teacher of Gymnastics Certificate if he mastered the exams during the summer course in a satisfying manner.
A letter of gratitude by the summer course class was acknowledged.
It was decided to send copies of it to the directors of the German House and the Social Gymnastic Union (Sozialer Turnverein).
Scherer moved to inquire about copies of the regulations about “accredited schools” of the state education institutions in Ohio and Illinois.
