Sitzung am 3. Sept. 1912
Anwesend waren Franklin Vonnegut, Stempfel,
Scherer, Rath + Westing.
Turner Vonnegut führte den Vorsitz.
Das Protokoll der letzten Sitzung wurde verlesen
und angenommen.
Die Adm. Behörde legte den Unterrichtsplan
für das laufende Schuljahr vor, welcher angenommen
wurde.
Aus einem Voranschlag über die Lehrergehälter
des neuen Schuljahres stellte sich heraus, daβ
diselben von $40 2… 00 auf $5166 steigen, demnach
$1142.- mehr. Die Einnahmen durch Schulgelder
werden sich von ca $4250 im Vorjahre auf
$6550.- erhöhen, eine Mehreinnahme von ca $2300.-
Seminardirektor Rath wurde beauftragt, für
die nötigen Reparationarbeiten in den Seminar=
räumlichkeiten Sorge zu tragen, sowie Möbel
für das Damenzimmer (Rest Room) zu bestellen.
Auf Antrag Stempfel’s wurden Vonnegut und
Lieber ernannt, um mit dem Haus Komite
die Einrichtung eines gemeischaftlichen Mittags=
tisches für die Studenten zu ma..ige..
zu besprechen.
Auf Antrag Rath’s wurden die Kosten für den
Druck der Musikanten von 11 Tänzen bewilligt.
Turner Rath, Lieber und Steichmann wurden
ernannt, um Postkarten für das Seminar
(Souvenir Post Cards) herstellen zu lassen.
Auf Antrag Stempfel’s wurden Turner Vonnegut
und Lieber beauftragt, $3000.- in 1st Mortgage
Bonds anzulegen.
Folgende Rechnungen wurden zur Zahlung angewiesen:

Meeting on Sept. 3 ,1912.

Turner Vonnegut chaired the meeting.
Last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
The Admin. Office presented the syllabus for the current school year, which was approved.
From an estimate of faculty salaries for the new school year, it became clear that the same have risen from $4,024 to $5,166 – an increase of $1,142. The income from school tuition will rise from $4,250 in the previous year to $6,550 – an increase of about $2,300.
Dean Rath was instructed to take care of the necessary repairs in the school rooms as well as order furniture for the ladies’ room (Rest Room).
Stempfel moved to appoint Vonnegut and Lieber to discuss arranging a community lunch for the students at an affordable price with the (German) House Committee. Motion granted.
Rath moved to approve the expenses for the musicians’ scores for 11 dances. Motion granted.
Turners Rath, Lieber and Steichmann were elected to have College post cards (Souvenir Post Cards) made.
Stempfel moved to instruct Turners Vonnegut and Lieber to obtain $3,000 in 1st Mortgage Bonds. Motion granted.
