According to qualitative research, the human being is the best instrument for understanding the meaning that people give to the events in their lives. The author directly observed song lyrics sung by Taylor Swift. In this study, the author analyzed the song lyrics to find the figurative language used in that song and to find the most dominant of those figurative language usage. The procedure is very important in the study, the main procedure of course to measure to what extent the object of the author's research the song lyrics that author would use, understand and appreciate.
The author had written all the results, content analysis that the author finds in the study and classified all the statements included in each type of imagery. Classified the data according to the types of figurative, Apostrophe, Synecdoche, Metonymy, Paradox, Hyperbole, Understatement, Irony,.
