CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Project
Indonesia has the fourth largest population in the world, for this it requires the working age population to continue to be able to come up with new innovations in order to create their own jobs. This reason has led to the emergence of various small and medium industries that produce various types of goods, both production goods and consumer goods. The industry that is of interest to the public is the food industry.
Indonesian people are increasingly creative and innovative in making new recipes to increase their daily food needs, they are also creative in making snacks from various kinds of vegetables. In this case the organizer will make snacks from vegetables, namely " Brazilian Cassava Leaf Nachos ".
The large number of business competition for snack food products does not rule out the possibility to open business opportunities with new and different innovations from other snacks. With creativity, the efforts developed will not be in vain and will continue to advance according to the times. In order for the Brazilian Cassava Leaf Nachos product business to be better and known by the general public, it is necessary to increase changes in taste, affordable prices, quality and advantages of this product which can provide satisfaction and many benefits for health and can build a taste that has never been felt by the community, especially the Bengkalis community and its surroundings. 1.5 Time and Place of Project Implementation 1.5.1 Place of Project Implementation
The project implementation location for the production and marketing of Brazilian Nachos Cassava Leaf Products will be at Street Bantan Senggoro. Gg.SMP 3, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency. Meanwhile, marketing is carried out by means of board out in store in the city of Bengkalis, and promotion on social media by implementing a delivery order system.
1.5.2 Time of Project Implementation
The time frame for this project is 4 (four) months, from September to December 2020
