BIOPROCESS ENGINEERING STUDY PROGRAMME PROGRAM STUDI TEKNIK BIOPROSES
1. Information identifying the holder of the qualification This Diploma Supplement follows the model developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES. The purpose of the supplement is to provide sufficient independent data to improve the international 'transparency' and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications (diplomas, degrees, certificates etc.).
It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the individual named on the original qualification to which this supplement is appended. It should be free from any value judgments, equivalence statements or suggestions about recognition. Information in all eight sections should be provided. Where information is not provided, an explanation should give the reason why.
Pelengkap ijazah ini mengikuti model yang dikembangkan oleh European Commission, Council of Europe dan UNESCO/CEPES. Maksud dari dokumen pelengkap ini adalah menyediakan data independen yang cukup untuk meningkatkan ‘keterbukaan’ internasional dan pengakuan akademik yang adil dan profesional atas kualifikasi (ijazah, gelar, sertifikat, dll.) di dalamnya.
Dokumen pelengkap ini dirancang untuk menyediakan uraian tentang sifat, tingkatan, konteks, isi dan status dari studi yang dijalani dan berhasil diselesaikan oleh individu yang namanya tertera di dalam ijazah di mana pelengkap ini dilampirkan. The Bioprocess Engineering study programme is a leading study program with a vision to become a leader in undergraduate education and research in the field of bioprocess engineering and actively support the development and application of bioprocess industry in global competition. The Bioprocess Engineering study programme is having mission in organizing bioprocess engineering undergraduate education program professionally with international standards, and capable of producing competent graduates in the field of bioprocess engineering; developing research in the field of bioprocess engineering for food and non-food products; implementing research results to develop bioprocess-based industries, both in small, medium and large-scale enterprises.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO)
Within five years of graduation, graduates of the programme will:
1. acquire professional leadership roles in bioprocess engineering and related fields leading to successful career;
2. establish commitment and contributes toward sustainable and bio-based economy development for better society; and,
3. engage in lifelong learning in conducting practical engineer tasks.
Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO)
On successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able:
1. to acquire a sound knowledge in mathematics and natural science and apply engineering principles in determining and solving contemporary and complex problems related to bioprocessing.
2. to formulate and operate conversion processes of biological resources into bio-based value-added materials related to food, feed, fuels, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, biomaterials or biochemicals.
3. to design biological reaction and reactors including its materials, instrumentation, control, and modelling.
4. to communicate creative idea and works effectively within professional community and larger society.
5. to demonstrate an ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in developing innovative engineering solutions using complex problem-solving skills.
6. to conduct practice-based tasks related to bioprocessing in a responsible, safe, voluntary, self-motivated, and ethical manner.
7. to appraise bioprocessing and bioproducts manufacturing and valorisation using entrepreneurship principles.
Degree requirements: 144 Semester Credit Unit (SCU) / 244.80 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) 1. Compulsory modules 132 SCU/224.4 ECTS

Visi dan Misi Program Studi
Program Studi Teknik Bioproses adalah salah satu program studi unggulan yang memiliki visi untuk menjadi yang terdepan dalam pendidikan sarjana dan penelitian di bidang teknik bioproses dan secara aktif mendukung pembangunan dan penerapan industri bioproses dalam persaingan global. Program Studi Teknik Bioproses memiliki misi menyelenggarakan program pendidikan sarjana teknik bioproses secara profesional dengan standar internasional dan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi unggul dalam bidang teknik bioproses, membangun penelitian dalam bidang teknik bioproses untuk menghasilkan bioproduk pangan maupun non-pangan, dan menerapkan hasil penelitian untuk membangun industri berbasis bioproses, baik industri skala kecil, menengah dan besar.
Kompetensi Lulusan
Dalam kurun waktu lima tahun setelah wisuda, lulusan program akan:
1. memiliki peran dan kepemimpinan profesional di bidang teknik bioproses sehingga mencapai keberhasilan dalam karirnya;
2. memiliki komitmen kuat dan berkontribusi aktif dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan dalam ekonomi berbasis bio menuju masyarakat dunia yang lebih baik; dan,
3. terlibat dalam pembelajaran sepanjang hayat dalam menjalankan kewajiban sebagai seorang insinyur bidang teknik bioproses.
Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan (CPL)
Setelah menyelesaikan program, lulusan akan memiliki kemampuan untuk:
1. memiliki pengetahuan dasar matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan alam dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip keteknikan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menyelesaikan masalah kontemporer berkaitan dengan bidang bioproses;
2. melakukan formulasi dan menerapkan proses konversi bahan biologis menjadi material berbasis bio yang memiliki nilai tambah, baik dalam aspek pangan, pakan, bahan bakar, farmasi, nutrisi, biomaterial dan biokimia;
3. mendesain reaksi biologi dan bioreaktor termasuk bahan baku, instrumentasi, kontrol dan modeling;
4. mengekspresikan baik oral maupun tulisan ide kreatif dan mampu bekerja secara efektif baik dalam komunitas profesi maupun masyarakat luas;
5. menunjukkan kemampuan untuk bekerja dalam tim yang tersusun atas berbagai disiplin ilmu dan budaya dalam membangun pemecahan masalah kompleks dengan solusi keteknikan yang inovatif;
6. menjalankan tugas-tugas praktis secara terampil terkait dengan bidang bioproses dengan mengedepankan rasa tanggung jawab, terukur, sukarela, inisiatif dan beretika; dan,
7. mengevaluasi proses manufaktur dan komersialisasi bioproses dan bioproduk menggunakan prinsip- prinsip kewirausahaan.

Detail dan persyaratan penyelesaian program
The curriculum of the Bioprocess Engineering Study Programme is structured into 9 subject-related competences and according to SSC 01 ASIIN. The Bachelor of Bioprocess Engineering will be awarded upon successful completion of 144 SCU / 244.8 ECTS from the following subject -related competences:
1. Broad and sound knowledge in mathematics and natural sciences applicable to engineering (50.5 ECTS) 2. In-depth knowledge and methodological competence of sub-disciplines of engineering (28.2 ECTS) 3. Knowledge and skills in process operations (28.2 ECTS)
4. Ability to apply engineering methods to specific machines and equipment (38.6 ECTS)
5. Acquisition and enhancement of specific knowledge in special disciplines of engineering (31.2 ECTS)
6. Ability to evaluate technical products and procedures relating e.g. their economic and ecological effects (14.8 ECTS)
7. Ability to work and communicate in national and international team(17.8 ECTS)
8. Knowledge and skill to work independently on scientific tasks in engineering sciences and to present work results (20.8 ECTS)
9. Ability of autonomous processing of practice tasks in engineering within a professional environment (14.8 ECTS)

Kurikulum Program Studi Teknik Bioproses tersusun dari kompetensi dasar yang berhubungan dengan mata kuliah yang ditawarkan dan sudah memenuhi struktur ASIIN - SSC 01. Gelar Sarjana Teknik Bioproses akan diberikan setelah menyelesaikan 144 SKS / 244.80 ECTS dari kompetensi dasar yang berhubungan dengan mata kuliah sebagai berikut:
1. Pemahaman yang baik dalam bidang matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan alam untuk penerapan di bidang teknik (30 SKS)
2. Pemahaman yang mendalam atas metodologi pada kompetensi sub-disiplin teknik tertentu (17 SKS) 3. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam proses operasi (17 SKS)
4. Kemampuan untuk menerapkan metode teknik pada mesin dan peralatan tertentu (23 SKS)
5. Pengambilan dan peningkatan pengetahuan spesifik dalam disiplin khusus pada bidang teknik (18 SKS) 6. Kemampuan untuk mengevaluasi produk dan prosedur teknis yang berkaitan dengan, misalnya hubungan
antara dampak ekonomi dan ekologisnya (9 SKS)
7. Mampu bekerja dan berkomunikasi dalam tim baik skala nasional maupun internasional (10 SKS)
8. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk bekerja secara mandiri pada tugas-tugas ilmiah di bidang ilmu teknik dan mempresentasikan hasil karya tersebut (12 SKS)
