The Florida FFA Foundation has been housed in the lodge since it opened in June of this year. AQHA is the official American Quarter Horse breed registry and the world's largest quarter horse registry. The association was founded on March 15, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas. Now headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, it serves 250,000 members and millions of American QuarterHorse owners in the United States and 62 foreign countries. 305 scholarships will be awarded in late spring for members who begin their studies as freshmen in the fall.
