Tesis tentang pengayaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa menggunakan aplikasi Hello English (studi pra eksperimen di Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminasa). Hello English” application is a smartphone application that can be used to teach English vocabulary, which. The researcher was to conduct a study entitled "Enriching Students English Vocabulary Using the "Hello English" Application. Does the "Hello English" application enrich the English vocabulary of second grade students from Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminasa.

To find out whether the "Hello English" application enriches the English vocabulary of the second grade students of Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminasa.

This “Hello English” application is very suitable for use in English classes because it will make the students more active and focused. In the same vein, Puspitaloka, Hasanah, and Rahmawati (2017) examined the efforts of the “Hello English” application to check whether young learners are better able to learn English vocabulary for their use of automaton-based instructional games. Based on the previous related research above, the researcher indicates that Hello English Application can be used as a media to teach any English subject.

In particular, the latest research shows that "Hello English" has a positive effect on improving students' interest in learning English. That is why it is very important to have good vocabulary exercises at the beginning of your studies. The irregular verb is Regular verbs are verbs in which most of the past tense (verb-2) and past participle (verb-3) are obtained by adding the suffix -ed or -d to the base form (the root form of the verb ).

Of course, all this relativity depends on the user's level of interest and motivation to learn English. The most interesting thing about Hello English: Learning. Games: This feature contains various games that students can play to learn English, such as learning vocabulary from one of the following games in the images below. Alternative hypothesis (Ha): "Hello English" Application enriches the English vocabulary of the second grade students of Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminasa.

The population of this research was the second grade of students in MTs Bani Rauf Sungguminasa. After giving the treatment the students were given a post-test, the post-test was a measure of some of the characteristics assessed for the trial participants. A description of the results of the data analysis will be included in the research findings.

Total results of students' vocabulary test using SPSS From table 2, it can be seen that the learning results of the second grade of students in MT Bani Rauf Sungguminasa were seen from the total results of pre-test and post-test. From the table above it can be seen that the significance of the data in the Kolmogorov-Smirnov table from the pre-test was 0.073 and the post-test was 0.176. Null hypothesis (H0): "Hello English" application does not enrich the English vocabulary of second grade students of Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminasa.

The T number is negative because the mean pretest score was lower than the mean posttest score. So, it can be denied that there is a mean score difference between pre-test and post-test learning outcomes, which means that there is an application "Hello English" that enriches the English vocabulary of second grade students of Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminas. The data result was taken from 20 students in the class pre-test and post-test.

34;Hello English" Application enriches English vocabulary of the second grade students of Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminasa. It means that the pre-test data is normally distributed because the significance score is higher than α = 0.05. The p-value = 0.285 > α.0.05, based on the results of these calculations it can be concluded that the population is homogeneous.

RESEARCH FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

Research Finding

Quantitative data was taken from the test, which consisted of a pre-test and a post-test. The pre-test was administered before the students' treatment, and the post-test was administered at the last session. The test was administered by the researcher in the form of a pre-test and a post-test.

In the pre-test, almost half of the total students scored in the fairly good category with a percentage of 45%. Based on the figure d above, it shows that there is a significant difference between the frequency of student rates in the pre-test and post-test. In the pre-test there were still students in the fair, poor and very poor categories.

Pre-test Learning Outcomes in Mts Bani Rauf Sungguminasa using SPSS Based on the table above, it can be seen that the maximum pre-test score the second grade students of MTs Bani Rauf Sungguminas obtained was 85, while the minimum score was 40. If the result of the data calculation is higher than α = 0.05, it means that the data would be homogeneous. According to the Singgih Santoso guidelines for decision making in the paired sample t-test based on the significance value (Sig.) of the SPSS output, the results are as follows.

In the context of these types of cases, the negative t-count is accessible to the positive one. Therefore, since the t-value is 7.312 > 1.729, the decision basis selection above can be rejected, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Discussion

Because the t-value is 7.312 > 1.729, the selection of the basis for decision making above can be rejected. Since students can learn while playing, the lessons they receive will be easier to remember the vocabulary they have learned, which in research by Puspitaloka, Hasanah, and Rahmawati (2017) examined the effort from. The other features of HEapten that should be highlighted are learning materials and reading some vocabulary articles where students just click on a word and the meaning of the word starts to appear.

Application can have a significant effect on students'. vocabulary knowledge because vocabulary test scores after researcher conducting treatments are higher than before taught by "Hello English". Based on the study's conclusion, some suggestions will be directed at the English teacher and other researchers. The English teacher can use the Hello English application as a medium in the learning process.

Because based on the results of the research, using the Hello English app as a learning medium enriches students. It can also support the teaching and learning process so that students will be more interested in learning English. This study mainly aims to describe how the Hello English application was implemented to enrich the vocabulary of second grade students at MTs Bani Rauf Sungguminas. This study can be used as one of the resources before the researchers conduct an action research related to the enrichment of students' English vocabulary.

Mengajar Kosakata Siswa Menggunakan Spelling Bee Game Siswa Kelas Dua SMPN 3 Sungguminasa Gowa (Disertasi Doktor Universitas Islam Negeri Makassar). Guru membimbing siswa untuk aktif bertanya tentang materi yang telah dipelajari atau tentang penggunaan Aplikasi Hello English.

CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS

Based on the results and discussions in the previous section, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' English vocabulary after learning using HEAp. Meanwhile, in the data analysis, in the Kolmogorov-Smirnov table from the pre-test it was 0.073 and the post-test was 0.176. Suggestions

Memotivasi siswa untuk belajar bahasa Inggris menggunakan aplikasi seluler: Kasus Duolingo dan Hello English. Pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi Hello English Berbasis Smartphone Android Terhadap Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Menengah (Quasi Eksperimen Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kadipaten). Puspitaloka N, Uswatun Hasanah dan Indah Rahmawati (2017), Memperkaya Kosakata Bahasa Inggris melalui Game Edukasi “Hello English” Berbasis Android untuk Kelas Pembelajar Muda.
