ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Laju pertumbuhan penduduk dunia pada tahun 2013 mengalami peningkatan lebih tinggi dari perkiraan dua tahun yang lalu. Pemerintah menekan laju pertumbuhan penduduk dengan program KB terpilih melakui Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (MKJP) yaitu IUD, Implant, MOP/MOW. Fenomena yang terjadi di masyarakat, pengambil keputusan untuk ber KB adalah suami termasuk pemilihan kontrasepsi yang digunakan.
Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Dukungan Suami dalam Pemilihan Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang di Kecamatan Sawah Besar Tahun 2017berdasarkan Kedokteran dan tinjauannya menurut islam.
Metode: Desain Penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik observasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Total responden penelitian adalah 93 responden yaitu peserta KB aktif yang tinggal di Kecamatan Sawah Besar pada tahun 2017. Pengambilan sampel secara cluster random sampling pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi- Square.
Hasil: Hasil uji statistik untukdukungan suami didapatkan nilai p = 0,748(˃0,05) yang menyatakan tidak ada hubungandukungan suami dengan pemilihan kontrasepsi jangka panjang.
Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan dukungan suami dengan pemilihan kontrasepsi jangka panjang di Kecamatan Sawah Besar Pada Tahun2017. Dalam ajaran Islam,pemilihan Kontrasepsi perlu adanya dukungan sosial. Dimana dukungan sosial merupakan suatu wujud dukungan atau dorongan yang berupa perhatian, kasih sayang. Kasih sayang dan dukungan itu juga berasal dari keluarga. Ketika individu dalam keadaan sulit mereka cenderung datang kepada orang terdekatnya, salah satunya keluarga (suami). Semua keputusan persoalan keluarga ditangan suami dan seorang istri diwajibkan taat kepada suami.

ABSTRAK
Background:The rate of growth of the world population in 2013 has increased more than expected two years ago. Government pressed the population growth with family planning programs that is the long-term contraceptive method ( LTM ) i.e IUD, implant, MOP/MOW.
Phenomenon that occur in the community that decision-makers to use familly planning is husband including the selection of contraceptive research.
Objective: the purpose of this research to understand the correlation between husband supports with the use of long-term contraceptive methodin Kecamatan Sawah Besar, looked at from Medical and Islam.
Methode: The researchment design that’s used was analytics observation with cross sectional nearby. The respondents in this research were 93 active family panning participants in Kecamatan Sawah Besar in 2017 using cluster cluster random sampling. The date were collected through questionnaires. Statistical analysis was performed using Chi-Square test.
Result: Statistical test results for husband support obtained p value = 0,748 (˃0.05) stating that there is no relationship between husband supports with the use of long-term contraceptive method.
Conclusion:There is no relationship berween husband supports with the use of long-term contraceptive method in Kecamatan Sawah Besar in 2017. In Islam, election contraceptives need social support. Where social support is a from of support or encouragement in the from of attention, compassion. The love and support also comes from the family. When individuals are in difficult circumstances they tend to come to the nearest person, one of them (husband). All decisions of family issues in the hands of husband and a wife are obliged to obey the husband.
