Discussion

Implementation of Digital Storytelling in Teaching Reading Ability of Narrative Text in Grade 9 SMPN 1 Rambipuji. Based on the results of research activities at SMPN 1, Rambipuji shows that the material for teaching reading skills in the 9th grade is narrative text. The evaluation of teaching reading skills of narrative text through digital storytelling in 9th grade of SMPN 1 Rambipuji.

The evaluation of teaching reading ability of narrative text through digital storytelling is: the teacher prepares evaluation of learning using reading assessment. CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

Conclusion

For the assessment in the narrative text material the teacher used the multiple choice reading assessment, but in the basic activity when the teacher wants to assess the students, the teacher used the performance test, which is the students come out one by one in front of the class. . We can come out with the text read or not, the students come out one by one in front of the class with their text read or not, which students come forward without the text will get a score of 80-95 and which students come out with their text. The result is 75-80. Based on the result of the above interview, the researcher describes that the assessment of the teaching ability of reading narrative text through digital storytelling in the 9th grade of SMPN 1 Rambipuji is the reading assessment.

In the basic activity, the teacher used the performance test which is that the students come out one by one in front of the class to retell the story of the Elephant and the Ant with the text read or not, the students who come out without the text will get points. 80-95 and who come students. The performance test here is that students come forward one by one to retell their conclusion of the story that was seen. Based on the results of the research activities at SMPN 1 Rambipuji, it results that the concluding activity of teaching reading skills through digital storytelling is that the teacher gave a conclusion at the end of the lesson, also gave some questions such as the structure of Elephant and The Ant History and review about narrative text material.

This activity gives the teacher moral value of the story to the students so that they can take a message from the story that they should help other people and not disturb and underestimate other people. But in the core activity when the teacher wants to assess the students, the teacher used performance test which is the students come forward one by one in front of the class. Performance test here students come forward one by one to retell the conclusion of the story.

The students come forward one by one in front of the class with the text read aloud or not, the students who come forward without text receive a score of 80-95 and for the students who come forward with their text the score is 75-80 .
