All first-year, transfer and incoming international undergraduate students, regardless of age or experience, are required to complete both the pre and post sections of the Vector Solutions Essentials course.
Bloomington – Primary Prevention Programs for Students
The module contains important information to inform employees about the ban and the university's response to all forms of sexual abuse. As part of this training, information on IU's Sexual Conduct Policy, including definitions and reporting obligations of responsible employees, is available.

Beginning in July 2015, the university made available to all employees an online training module titled "Sexual Misconduct Training: Understanding Title IX and University Policies and Procedures." Procedures the University Will Follow with Reports of Sexual Misconduct
The complainant and the respondent will also be informed in writing about the university's procedures for the complainant or the respondent to appeal the decision. If the alleged victim has died as a result of the crime or offense, the University will provide the results of the disciplinary hearing to the victim's next of kin upon request.
Institutional Disciplinary Procedures
To the extent possible, the Complainant and the Respondent will simultaneously be notified in writing of the outcome and results of any disciplinary and compliant resolution procedure, any changes to the results before they are final, and when the results are final. Upon written request, the University will disclose to the alleged victim of a crime of violence (as defined in section 16 of Title 18, United States Code) or non-coercive sexual crime (incest or statutory rape), the results of any disciplinary hearing conducted by the University against the student, who is the alleged perpetrator of the offence.
