Kesesuaian dan kelengkapan unsur isi paper : ( nilai = 2)Analisis fenomena vertical motion Gerakan kapal cukup menarik terlihat dari kesesuaian dengan teknologi konstruksi perkapalan. Pembahasan mengenai cakupan gerakan vertical kapal menjawab latar belakang kasus pengunaan bahan tersebut.

Ruang lingkup dan kedalaman pembahasan :(nilai = 7 ) Ruang lingkup kedalaman pemabahasan analisa modifikasi optimasi bentuk kapal mengunakan hasil yang dituangkan dalam bentuk alur kerja serta penggambaran yang menjawab dari tujuan penelitian.

Kecukupan dan kemutakhiran data/informasi dan metodologi : ( nilai = 6 ) Data dan informasi terkait perbandingan model kapal yang digunakan cukup runtut, namun demikian perlu ditambahakan tatanan validasi.

Kesesuaian belum terlihat dengan hasil pembahasanan hipotesis terdahulu.

Kesesuaian dan kelengkapan unsur isi paper : ( nilai = 2) Sesuai yang terlihat unsur analisa vertical motion gerakan kapal memiliki keterkiatan dengan topik teknologi konstruksi perkapalan. Bahasa dan hasil analisa dalam pembahasan cukup detail disertai grafik yang menunjukan model gerakan vertical kapal menjawab dasar dari latar belakang kasus permasalahan tersebut.

Ruang lingkup dan kedalaman pembahasan :(nilai = 5 ) Adapun scope kedalaman dari teknik penyajian pembahasan analisa cukup dalam terlihat dari oenggamabran gradik yang tertuang pada modifikasi optimasi bentuk kapal. Ada pembahasan dari hasil penelitian terdahulu sehingga cukup baik dan spesifik.

Kecukupan dan kemutakhiran data/informasi dan metodologi : ( nilai = 6 ) Berdasarkan review tata penulisan atau metodologi dalam penlitian yang dituangkan memberikan informasi cukup lengkap. Hasil penelitan dari peneliti sebelumnya terlihat dan masuk kedalam parameter reseach gap dari penelitian ini.

Title Vertical Motion Optimization of Series 60 Hull Forms Using Response Surface Methods

Abstract There are many aspects to analyze seakeeping performance, one of which is the ship's vertical motion. As well-known, vertical motion and its derivatives, vertical velocity and acceleration, will be related to other aspects of seakeeping performance, such as slamming, deck wetness, and MSI. This study discusses optimizing the hull shape with small vertical motion using the Response Surface Methods (RSM). This research aims to minimize the ship's vertical motion so that the ship's performance is better than the initial one.

Besides, this research was conducted to apply the RSM in the naval architecture eld. The hull's shape used in this study is Series 60 hull form with a length of 31 m. The variables used for the optimization process are the ratio of L/B (X1) and B/T (X2) in the range of ± 10% with xed displacement.

Seakeeping analysis was carried out at a speed of 6.78 knots (Fr 0.2), a heading angle of 180°, and a signi cant wave height of 0.77 meters. The results show that the optimum model is found in Model 9 where the value of X1 = -2.94 or L/B = 6.71 and X2 = 5 or B/T = 2.75. Model 9 can reduce the vertical motion of the ship by 16.38%.
