He presented a citizenship medal to a high school student who was voted the best student and best citizen by members of the senior class. He offered a $50 prize to the high school student who would achieve the highest annual grade in school work. They sponsored a junior high school and included vocational training in the school's courses.
Two prizes ($15 in gold) are offered to high school students for the best essay. Silver Love Cup to be presented to the high school class with the highest average for the year.

Perfect plans to cooperate with Rural Education Department of the Michigan State Normal College. Club pledged its support to the Commercial Club in any and all activities for the betterment of the city. Members of the club supported a fair organized by "Daughters of the Empire", the proceeds of which will be used to establish a permanent cenotaph in memory of the Kingston men who died in the war. The proceeds from a theater party went to a memorial building for World War veterans. Established Shreve Memorial by having the Shreveport City Commission name the new city library in honor of Henry Shreve, city founder.
MUSIC
Club obtained a levy to retain bandmaster to take charae from the boy band. Community singing every Wednesday ni2ht during the summer in public park, also two band concerts. Along with Great War Veteran', an orchestra and the local amateur radio club held four community sing-alongs, the orchestra accompanied and Radio Club broadcast.
The proceeds were used to purchase musical instruments for the high school band and orchestra. A number of Kiwanis clubs helped high school bands attend the National Band Competition held in Chicago.

A piece of land was purchased in the center of the beautiful Denver Mountain Parks system; and here, in the heart of the Play Ground of America, a park has been created for the construction of summer homes and cabins exclusively for Kiwanians. Purchase and installation of additional playground equipment for underprivileged children in the east side of the city. Club led a movement to build a playground in the heart of the city at a cost of approximately $4,000.
A large plot of land given by the wife of a Kiwanian was turned over to the Kiwanis Club to be fitted up as a playground. Worked to ensure greater use of county parks for children in overcrowded districts on Sundays.

Proceeds from the minstrel show went to underprivileged children and the Peterborough Health Association. The net proceeds from the performance, amounting to $432.93, were added to the Children's Employment Fund of this club. A concert by the United States Navy Band under the auspices of the Kiwanis Club raised about $2,100 for an educational fund for poor children.
Set aside $5 00 from the treasury in addition to assessing each member five dollars for the underprivileged children's fund. The club has a special underprivileged children's committee which investigates cases with a view to processing the club's membership.
MENTAL
A home was found for another boy, where his services outside of school hours paid for his board, room, and a small stipend. At another time, homes were found for three children and employment for the mother. The "Big Sisters Club" was organized to cooperate in special cases among these underprivileged children. It helped other local organizations to collect funds with which they would create a modern home for the Children's Aid Society.
This club is caring for sixteen underprivileged boys, and a budget of $1,200 has been set aside for this type of work for the year. Awarded two charters to the State Commonwealth of Albion, Michigan, a home school for underprivileged boys.

Committee appointed to work with the city school nurse and to help her work among the malnourished or disadvantaged children of this city in every tangible way. Sent fifty-five underprivileged boys to Scout Camp at a cost of five dollars each. Club raised $45 with which to provide milk to the needy underweight children of Marion Grammar School.

Raised $2,000 through personal contributions from members for work among the tuberculous children at the Fresh Air School this year. Club set up a building at Balton Fresh Air Camp for children and mothers who would otherwise not get a holiday. Vashington Kiwanians are actively interested in Camp Good Will, a fresh air camp for underprivileged children and their mothers.
Arrangements were made for a hopeless cripple to be admitted to the Home for Crippled Children. A tradesmen's and producers' exhibition was held for a cow, which raised $2,500 for the Dairy Fund.
AID TO STUDENTS
A crippled child was cured through arrangements made by this club and a number of other cases were also treated. Donated a bed in the West Virginia Hospital for Crippled Children at Huntington, West Virginia, at a cost of $1,000 per year.-Each member paid the price of a meal, but did not eat it . In collaboration with another civic organization, this club arranged shoes for children who could not go to school due to lack of proper shoes.
This club, by appointing an active committee, assisted in securing a dormitory for the use of out-of-town students attending Fremont County Vocational High School. An Educational Revolving Fund has been established with the aim of helping worthy boys obtain a university education.

Financial aid was granted to all students who needed it to complete their secondary education. Madison Kiwanis Club provides tuition for one student at A. The Kiwanis Club of Pullman has begun a building program to make room for a large enrollment at Washington State College.

The Dayton Club, through its Welfare Committee, is doing much good work for the poor and needy. The welfare committee found employment, with one of the cluh members, for the eldest son of a fatherless family of five children, besides furnishing food and clothing for several other families. Started a community fund to support the widows and children of a police officer who was shot in the line of duty.
The Kiwanis contribution to the fund was $605 and the community fund developed through Kiwanis was more than $6,000. The Welfare Committee worked with the King's Daughters in investigating families in need of charity and welfare work.

Secured permanent establishment of a scout troop, also secured a scoutmaster and a troop home. Millville, N. J. The Boy Scout Committee sponsored a drive to raise $1,500 for the Cumberland County Boy Scouta. The club helped solicit funds to provide Plymouth grounds for a general camp for the Boy Scouts of the WyomiI)g Valley.
A fund of $650 was raised among the members of the club with which a mess hall was built at the permanent Boy Scout camp. From the circus and the honor roll in connection with it, the sum of $5,000 was raised for the Boy Scout movement.

Also paid the electric and gas bills for the Nazarene Mission, which is a kitchen to feed worthy men without means. The cooperation with other civic organizations in the Welfare Association's efforts to raise funds for fifteen organized charities, which are managed through the one leader of the Welfare Association.
