KONTRIBUSI SPORT TOURISM TERHADAP SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) DALAM MEWUJUDKAN BINTAN

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui bagaimana kontribusi event sport tourism dalam mewujudkan Bintan Resorts sebagai Destinasi Pariwisata Berkelanjutan Periode 2022-2025 oleh Kemenpar apabila ditinjau sesuai klasifikasi UNWTO mengenai keberadaan sport tourism yang sejalan terhadap SDGs pada indikator sertifikasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu dalam memperoleh data penulis melakukan wawancara sebagai sumber primer, dan peneliti menggabungkan sumber data sekunder yaitu jurnal, buku, skripsi, internet, dokumentasi, dan buku elektronik menjadi data primer guna memenuhi kebutuhan data dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan event-event sport tourism yang menjadi agenda rutin di Bintan Resorts dinilai telah sesuai dengan prinsip sustainable tourism. Dalam penyelenggaraanya, keberadaan sport tourism menjadi bukti dari implikasi SDGs sebagai produk rezim UN pada klasifikasi UNWTO. Mengingat yang menjadi poin dasar dalam peniliaan sertifikasi STC yang diberikan Kemenpar kepada Bintan Resorts ini, Lembaga ISTC berlandaskan pada prinsip PERMENPAR yang mengadaptasi prinsip sustainable tourism milik UNWTO.

SPORT TOURISM'S CONTRIBUTION TO SUSTAINABLE
DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) IN REALIZING BINTAN RESORTS AS A SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DESTINATION

Abstract
This study aims to find out how sports tourism events contribute to realizing Bintan Resorts as a Sustainable Tourism Destination for the 2022-2025 period by the Ministry of Tourism when reviewed in accordance with UNWTO's classification of sports tourism contributions that are in line with SDGs. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, i.e. in obtaining the data of authors conducting interviews as primary sources, and researchers combine secondary data sources such as journals, books, scripts, internet, documentation, and electronic books into primary data to meet the data needs of research. The results of the study show that the implementation of sports tourism events which are a routine agenda at Bintan Resorts is considered to be in accordance with the principles of sustainable tourism.
In its implementation, the existence of sport tourism is evidence of the implications of SDGs as a product of the UN regime in the UNWTO classification. considering the basic points in the assessment of STC certification given by the Ministry of Tourism to Bintan Resorts, the ISTC Institution is based on the PERMENPAR principle which adapts UNWTO's sustainable tourism principles.
