In this paper, we report on the layered double hydroxide Mg-Al impregnated biochar and applied as adsorbent to remove malachite green in aqueous solution. The obtained results showed that the Mg-Al/Biochar resulted a good characteristic and enhanced the adsorption capacity almost twice than pristine. The composite material also shown the high potential for reuse adsorbent after three cycle.
