Geschäfts Versamlung die Versamlung wurde durch den Presiedenten eröfnet und daβ Protokoll von der letzten Versamlung wurde Verlesen und Angenommen Verhandlungen
Wegen die Cincinnati angelegenheiten wurde auf den Tisch gelegt bis Nächster Versamlung
Beschlossen daβ das Picnick sol auf dem Garfield Park gehalten werden es wurde aber in erwägung gezogen dan wurde mit zettel Abgestimt und die mehrheit war für den Schützen Park daβ Comiette sol aber nicht weiter wie 20 bis 35 thaler dafür bezahlen als Comiette wurde ernant Wm Hohlt + C. F. Lentz. solt daβ Comiette
den Platz nicht kriegen dan sollen sie den Garfield Park nehmen beschlossen daβ wir wollen eine ganze Musiek Band haben den ganzen tag Musiek zu bestellen Henry Weghorst Wm Weghorst + Wm Büscher
beschlossen daβ es soll in der zeitung gepuplieziert werden nämlich in der Tribüne und die News Als comiette wurde ernant C. F. Lentz + Wm Hohlt Hierauf Vertagung

Indianapolis, June 7th, 1885
Nineteenth year, first regular business meeting. The meeting was called to order by the president, last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
New business:
Further discussion of the Cincinnati issue was tabled until next meeting. Next, Garfield Park was selected as a picnic location at first. However, it was put to discussion to consider Schützen Park as a new location and when voted on it the majority was for the latter. The committee to deal with the reservation of the park will consist of Wm. Hohlt and C. F. Lentz. It was agreed that we will accept a fee of no more than 25 to 30 thaler. If this cannot be accomplished we will go back to the original decision to use Garfield Park for our picnic. It was agreed to hire an entire music band to play music during the whole day. A committee of the following members was
appointed to take care of this: Henry Weghorst, Wm. Weghorst and Wm. Büscher. It was
decided to advertise the picnic in two newspapers, the Tribune and the News. A committee was formed to do this and C. F. Lentz and Wm. Hohlt were elected to serve on it.
At this point the meeting was adjourned.
