Go to myTNBiz via this link,

https://mybizaccount.mytnb.com.my/.

On myTNBiz page, click Register to proceed with account registration.

• At the moment, myTNBiz is only available for business customers with multiple electricity accounts!

• To register as a business customer with multiple electricity accounts, please prepare a declaration form with your organisation’s official letterhead to be uploaded during the registration process. Sample/ Reference will be provided on myTNBiz during the registration process.

Register on myTNBiz (1/3)

Step 1:

a) To register as myTNBiz user, input your email address and password.

Then, click Register.

a) Enter the required details (e.g., Full name, Identification Type & No, Mobile No).

b) Verify and tick the personal data protection policy checkbox and click Create Account.

a) You will be prompted with a notification informing that a verification link to activate your myTNBiz account has been sent to your email. Click Got it!.

a) Check your registered email’s inbox for the email notification. Click Activate Now to activate your myTNBiz account.

b) Your account is activated! Click Login to myTNBiz.

Step 12: You will be directed to the Electricity Account Setup section:

a) Scroll down to the Manually Add Electricity Accounts section and click Manual add.

Step 13: On this page, you may add many electricity accounts at once or one-by- one.

a) To add many accounts at once, download the excel template by clicking on this Excel template. Fill in the required details. Once done, upload your file in the provided Upload Your File section.

b) You may also manually add your account by clicking the Add Another Account row.

c) Verify the details by clicking outside of the box and lastly, click Add Accounts to proceed.

For government entity, you will always view the auto-detected accounts as 0.

a) The total number of added electricity accounts will be reflected at the bottom of the page. Click Confirm.

a) You will be prompted with a pop-up for acknowledgement, click Confirm a

Step 16: You will be directed to the next section for you to submit the declaration form.

a) You are required to upload a copy of the declaration form in Bahasa Malaysia with your organisation’s official letterhead in the Upload Your Filesection. You will need to save your file in PDF.

b) Tick the acknowledgement checkbox to acknowledge that the information you have provided is accurate and you have read the terms & conditions.

c) Click Submit.

To save the declaration form in PDF, select save as type:PDF.

Step 17: Your bulk account registration is now completed! You may view the details or proceed to log out.

You will receive an email notification informing that your registration application is being verified by TNB admin. Once it is approved or if more information is required, you will receive an email notification to inform you.

a) Enter your Registration of Company (ROC) number with input up to 12 characters long to proceed with the registration.

b) ClickNext.

a) Upon exiting the ROC number field, if there is a linked bulk ID, a popup will be displayed, showing the list of bulk ID(s). Click Close to proceed.

b) Upon exiting the ROC number field, if there is no linked bulk ID found, a popup will be displayed to inform you. Click Closeto proceed.

Step 14a: You will be directed to the electricity account setup section.

Here, you can view the auto-detected electricity accounts that may be associated with you based on your ROC number.

a) Tick the top checkbox to add all or tick only selected accounts, to add to your bulk profile and provide a reference ID for your reference.

b) To manually add electricity accounts, scroll down and click Manual add on the right side of the Manually Add Electricity Accounts section. Refer to step 14b.

Log in and View Your Homepage

Welcome to the redesigned homepage of myTNBiz!

Get an overview of your account details, billing & payment submission history and scroll down to see more information on your bills.

Every month there are four bill extraction dates (7th, 14th, 21st, 30th / 31st) and for every extraction date, there is a different bill batch ID.

Total Payable Charges: Current charges of the latest bill batch ID + Outstanding Charges of the latest bill batch ID.

Overall Payable Charges: Accumulated total payable charges for all bill batch ID.

View Your Unpaid Bills

Step 1:

a) To go to the bills page, click Bills & Payments in the navigation bar at the top part of myTNBiz page.

b) By default, you will be at the Unpaid Bills tab page. Scroll down to go to the Unpaid Bills table to view your unpaid bills.

You will receive a new notification email when the bill is generated according to the billing cycle.

a) You may Sort/ Filter/ Search your unpaid bills.

b) Scroll horizontally to download and view more details of your unpaid bills.

View and Download Bulk Bill Invoices by Batches

You will receive new bill email notification when the bill is generated according to the billing cycle.

Step 1:

a) Click Bills & Payment on the navigation bar at the top, to go to the bills page.

b) By default, you will be at the Unpaid Bills tab page. Then, click the Bill Historytab.

Step 2:

a) On your Bills History page, Sort/ Filter/ Search your bulk bill invoices, if needed.

b) Click the Download Bills icon to mass download your bill invoices by batches according to the extraction date.

Search Bills (1/2)

Search for specific bills issued to customer’s electricity accounts in the last 6 months.

Step 1:

a) Click Bills & Payments on the navigation bar to navigate to the Bills Page.

b) Then, click on Bill History tab.

c) In the Search Bills section, click on the Searchbutton and you will be directed to the Search Bills page.

Step 2:

a) Select the bill period for the specific bill issued to your electricity accounts.

Select the start date and end date of your bill period to select the bill period.

Please note that results will only include bills issued in the last 6 months.

Search for specific bills issued to customer’s electricity accounts in the last 6 months.

Step 3:

a) You can also search by Account No,Bill Batch ID, Invoice No. orReference ID from the dropdown menu and input the required info. This is optional.

a) Then, click Search.

b) Your search results will appear below under the Search Results section. You may also download an excel spreadsheet of your searched bill results by clicking Download Excel.

Make Payment Submission (EFT/Cheque) on myTNBiz (1/3)

Step 1:

a) On your myTNBiz homepage, scroll down to the Summary of Payable Accounts section.

b) To pay your bills by batch ID, click Payon the bill batch ID row.

Alternatively, you can pay the bills on the Bills & Payments page by selecting the bills that you wish to make payment and proceed with the payment process.

Step 2: You will be redirected to the Unpaid Bills page.

a) The number of invoices and total selected amount will be reflected in the Selected Bill Summary section at the bottom part of your screen.

b) Select your Payment Type. By default, Current Charges toggle is selected.

c) Click Continue to Payment to proceed with the payment transaction process.

• You are only able to make Current Charges payment for contract account with a value of more than RM0.00.

• If required, you may untick any of the selected bills to exclude any invoice prior to making the payment.

Scenario 1:

a) When selecting an invoice with Current Charge < or = to RM0.00 and another invoice with Current Charge > RM0.00, once click Continue to Payment, a popup will be displayed.

b) Click Continue to Payment,if you wish to exclude invoices with RM0.00 or –ve amount in Current Charge. You will then be redirected to the Transaction Details page.

c) To close the popup, click Got It.

a) When selecting an invoice with Current Charge < or = to RM0.00, a popup will be displayed, showing‘Please untick invoices with RM0.00 or negative amount in CurrentCharge’.

Step 3: You will be directed to the Payment Review page to complete your payment submission.

a) Scroll horizontally to see more columns in the transaction details table for you to verify the transaction details.

b) SelectEFT orCheque as your payment method.

Step 4:

a) Select the bank name from the dropdown menu.

b) Based on your payment selection, enter either your EFT/ Cheque number in the required section.

You can save your preferred payment method as default or change it in the future as and when you wish to.

• EFT (GIRO has a RM1,000,000.00 limit, RENTAS has a RM200,000,000.00 limit).

• Cheque is limitless.

Step 5:

a) Scroll down and verify the payment submission details. Click Pay Now to complete your payment submission.

Step 6:

a) After the payment has been submitted, you will see the payment confirmation page and your payment submission is being processed.

You can go back to the unpaid bills page by clicking the Back button.

Please ensure your payment amount is equal to the Total Amount Due or your payment submission may be declined.

• For successful submission, ensure the payment amount selected is paid in full.

• Once the payment submission of the selected CA is reviewed and cleared by TNB, you will be notified, and the status will be reflected in the payment section on your myTNBiz account.

• You will also receive an email notification informing that your bill payment is being processed as well as once it has been approved.

Payment Reconciliation

The payment reconciliation is applicable to payment options - EFT and Cheque only.

[Email Notification] If your bill payment was unsuccessful due to insufficient/

overpayment, you will receive an email notification. Click View Paymentsto see the details and reconcile your payment in portal.

*Your payment status in myTNBiz portal will be updated to Pending Reconciliation (Overpayment)/Pending Reconciliation (Insufficient)

Log in to myTNBiz, go to Bills & Payments and click Payment tab to go to the payment page in myTNBiz portal.

In the payment transactions table, click Update Nowto reconcile the payment.

Payment Reconciliation – Insufficient Payment Scenario (1/2)

The payment reconciliation is applicable to payment options - EFT and Cheque only

Step 2:

a) Upon successful payment reconciliation submission, you will be directed to the confirmation page.

For an insufficient payment scenario, you are required to pay for the reconciliation amount to resolve the payment transaction in myTNBiz portal.

Step 1:

a) Input all the required details such as payment method (EFT is selected by default), bank name and EFT no. and click Submit Payment to continue.

• The payment status will be updated from Pending ApprovalProcessing. You can re-visit the details in your payment transaction tables.

Payment Reconciliation – Insufficient Payment Scenario (2/2)

The payment reconciliation is applicable to payment options - EFT and Cheque only.

[Email Notification] You will receive an email notification to confirm that your payment reconciliation is being processed.

Once your payment reconciliation is approved, the payment status will be reflected on your myTNBiz account. You will also be notified via email.

In the case your payment reconciliation is unsuccessful, you may perform 2nd payment reconciliation in myTNBiz portal.

a) Upon successful payment reconciliation submission, you will be directed to the confirmation page. You can click Back to Home to go to the homepage or click on View Transactions to view the transaction details.

• The payment status will be updated to Pending Approval. Once approved by PCCR team, the status will be updated from ‘Processing’ →Paid. You can re-visit the details in your payment transaction tables.

You can save your preferred payment method as default or change it later.

• FPX Limit is RM 2.00 – RM 1,000,000.00.

• Please be sure to obtain your Bank Authoriser’s approval within 5 calendar days (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) to avoid declined payment and any additional surcharges.

a) You will be directed to the TNB Payment Gateway page. Select your bank and complete your payment process on this page.

a) Once completed, you will be prompted with the pop-up informing to obtain your Bank Authoriser’s approval within 5 calendar days (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) to avoid declined payment and any additional surcharges.

You will be notified of your payment status through email, and it will also be reflected on your myTNBiz account under payment transaction details.

a) Click Manage Accounts on the navigation bar at the top, to go to the manage accounts page.

b) To view the details of your bulk accounts, click Show Bulk Account Details.

Different error types will be displayed depending on the scenarios.

1 If the electricity account has already been tagged to another bulk account, no further tagging is possible.

This account has already been added to another bulk account.

2 If the electricity account details is not updated in the system. We can’t seem to add this account. Please try again later or contact TNB Careline.

3 If the process of adding electricity account is aborted in the system midway.

We can’t seem to add this account. Please try again later or contact TNB Careline.

4 If the electricity account does not exist in the system. This account does not exist in our system. Please contact TNB Careline for assistance.

5 If the bulk account does not exist, user will not be able to tag it. We can’t seem to find your Bulk ID. Please try again later or contact TNB Careline.

6 If the bulk account is inactive, user will not be able to tag it. Your Build ID is currently inactive. Please try again later or contact TNB Careline.

b) By default, you will be at the All Electricity Accounts page. To start grouping your electricity account, click the Electricity Accounts by Groups tab.

To pay the bills by group, tick the group and click Pay Bills. You will be directed to the payment transaction page for you to complete the payment transaction.

To view/ delete/ edit the group, click View Details.

Step 1:

a) Click Manage Accounts on the navigation bar at the top, to go to the

manage accounts page. By default, you will be at the All Electricity Accounts page.

b) Scroll down to view all your electricity accounts.

a) If you want to remove, assign or edit your electricity accounts, click Edit Account.

• Scroll horizontally to the right to view the status and details of each electricity account.

• Hover over the information symbol to see the definition of each statuses.

a) Select the accounts you want to remove or assign to group by clicking on the checkboxes in the table to activate the Remove Accounts and Assign to Group buttons.

b) You can only edit the Referece ID and Group column. Click on the specific field to edit.

• To edit or add ‘Reference ID’, click on a cell in the ‘Reference ID’ column.

• To add or reassign an electricity account to a group, click on a cell in the ‘Group’

column.

Step 1:

a) Click Manage Accounts on the navigation bar at the top, to go to the manage accounts page.

b) In the Manage Electricity Accounts table, scroll to the right and click on Request for Account Statementto request for a detailed statement.

Step 2:

a) You will be prompted with a pop-up. Click Request Statement.

b) You have successfully requested for your Account Statement. It will be ready and sent to your email in the next 24 hours. Click Got It to dismiss the notification.

a) If you would like to add a new user to the account, on your Manage Users page, scroll down and click Add User.

a) You will be prompted with a popup. Fill in the details and choose the roles and permission you want for the new user to have in the checkbox.

b) Once all the details have been filled, click the Add Userbutton.

c) Another popup will appear informing that an invitation link has been sent to the email address of the new user. Click Got it!
