Finances

For the rest of the university's academic units, the primary operating income consists of tuition/fees. When a potential donor expresses a passion for a specific area of the university, perhaps having a request stored in this "tool bag," the major gifts officer begins the process of negotiating priorities and possible ways to fund a project in that area.

Governance and Administration

The Chair of the NYSCC Faculty Council serves as the Campus Governance Leader at SUNY Faculty Senate meetings. Twice per semester, the SoAD Dean meets with the School's principal administrative assistants (Assistant Dean; Administrative Assistant to the Dean; Administrative Assistant: Graduate Program; and Administrative Assistant: Undergraduate Program).

Faculty and Staff

In addition, four adjuncts assist in teaching Issues and Debates in Contemporary Art (ARTH 211) in fall semesters only; two adjuncts help teach the Foundations program; nine learning supplements across other divisions.
