OVERVIEW

The course is aimed at developing professional skills and work experience in progressive and innovative area of petroleum engineering — off shore drilling.

Through a combination of theory and practice you will be taught the off shore drilling technology and off shore well-casing. The course develops high levels of professional competence in the key areas of well construction on the Arctic shelf and well construction design in the shelf area.

All modules & disciplines are delivered in English.

• Well Construction on the Arctic Shelf

• Off shore Drilling Technology

• Control of the Off shore Well Drilling Process and Simula- tor Training

• Well Construction in Frozen Rocks

OVERVIEW

The course is aimed at developing professional skills and work experience in progressive and innovative area of petro- leum engineering – geosteering.

Through a combination of theory and practice you will be taught rock mechanics and physical-chemical processes in the near wellbore area. You will learn to control the wellbore trajectory in production zones. The course develops high levels of professional competence in geological and fl ow simulation of productive pools. All modules & disciplines are delivered in English.
