Teaching format / class hours per week during semester:

100 minutes lectures per week.

Workload: Total workload is 3 ECTS, which consists of 1.67 hours lectures, 2 hours structured activities, 2 hours independent learning, 16 week per semester, and a total 90.67 hours per semester including mid exam and final exam.

After completing this course the student should have:

CLO 1: ability to understand about characteristics of sciences CLO 2: ability to understand about the definition of science for

more perspective

CLO 3: ability to understand about interaction between science and technology

CLO 4: ability to understand about organism and it’s environmental, universe and solar system

CLO 5: ability to understand about event earth

CLO 6: ability to understand and application of sciences method to solve sciences problems in everyday life (physic, biology, chemistry, medical, etc.)

Content: Characteristics of science, definitions of science from multiple perspectives, analysis of characteristics of science, various science topics based on the characteristics of science, interaction of

science and technology, how science works, matter and energy, sources of energy, living things and environment, universe and solar system, as well as terrestrial events, methods scientific, the application of the scientific method to solve science problems in life everyday (physics, biology, chemistry, medicine, and others).

D+ : 50 < Final Mark ≤ 55

D : 44 < Final Mark ≤ 50

E : 0 ≤ Final Mark ≤ 44
