Judul Karya Ilmiah (Makalah): Kesenjangan Penyediaan Air Minum di Kemijen dan Tambak Lorok Jumlah penulis : 2 orang. Isi artikel sudah lengkap, namun belum ada tanda terima dan acuan petunjuk penulisan artikel dari IOP Science. Pembahasan mengenai kesenjangan pelayanan pada kedua Kelurahan di Kota Semarang cukup detail dan lengkap, sesuai dengan tujuan yang tertuang dalam makalah.

Artikel tersebut sejalan dengan bidang ilmu penulis kedua, khususnya dalam rangka perencanaan pembangunan kota dan wilayah. Konten dari karya ini dapat digunakan berdasarkan ketentuan lisensi Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. Distribusi lebih lanjut dari karya ini harus mencantumkan atribusi kepada penulis dan judul karya, kutipan jurnal, dan DOI.

Engineers International Conference (EIC) is held by Engineering Faculty of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Indonesia. EIC is carried out to support the vision of Universitas Negeri Semarang as the university of conservation with the international reputation. Since IOP is one of the publishers authorized to publish scientific articles in the world of engineering, it encouraged us as the committee to publish a number of our articles in IOP.

We hope that the articles presented at EIC can make valuable contributions in the world of engineering.

This disaster can occur due to various factors, such as soil material, load on the slope and the presence of groundwater. For the conventional retaining wall in a kind of gravity wall, the weight of the structure affects the stability to hold the slope. If the retaining wall is not sufficient to support the load, the size of the retaining wall must be changed.

In this study, analysis of conventional gravity type retaining walls with several variation designs in 3 meter vertical slope. As the limitation of this study, there are two layers of cohesive soil behind the retaining wall. The retaining wall relies only on the weight of the structure as the basis of its design.

Therefore, the relationship between the weight of the retaining wall and the stability of the structure itself can be known. Thus, the design of the suitable retaining wall used in the vertical slope in this study can be obtained. The results show that the larger the retaining wall, the value of the safety factor will increase.

A retaining wall design with a sloped wall at the front of the retaining wall gives a higher safety factor than a retaining wall design with a slender shape. In addition to the inclination of the slope, this landslide can be caused by the condition of the soil material, the load on the slope and the presence of groundwater. There are several methods of soil stabilization, using physical, chemical, mechanical, biological or combined methods.

There are two types of retaining walls, conventional retaining walls and mechanically stabilized earth walls [2]. With this earth retaining wall concept, the weight of the structure is very important in avalanche resistance. Stability analysis in the design of conventional retaining walls can be considered in terms of various factors, overturning, sliding, bearing capacity and deep anchored shear failure.
