From the description above, it is clear that the researcher wants to find out how students perceive their vocabulary mastery. First, the use of the active learning model in the classroom is a communication process between students in the classroom, a communication process between students and groups, a process in which students express their opinions. Therefore, if we look at the above percentage of data, we can conclude that most of the students speak actively when the teacher gives the students freedom of thought to answer all the questions asked by both the teacher and their classmates. A few students strongly agree and agree that when the teacher used active learning methods in learning English, the students understood more easily and became more confident and more active in expressing their opinions.

A few students agree and agree that if the teacher requires students to bring a dictionary when they learn English in class, some students agree when they use a dictionary in the learning process. Thus, looking at the percentage of data above, we can conclude that most students agree and agree a lot when they make their notes to study, so students have instructions for re-studying the material that has been explained and have not problems when asked. by the teacher And set a good example for classmates so that they are more diligent in taking notes during the ongoing lesson and also can share notes with friends who are not present and provisions are made to read at home. Some students strongly agree and agree that when the teacher implements the discussion method in the classroom, it can make students more active in working together with a group of friends and exchanging ideas. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

Discussion

The data to know the students' perception about the use of active learning for their students' vocabulary mastery in the class through questionnaire distributed to 20 participants, then analyzed using the same scale as the instrument to collect the data. Active learning is a learning model that can involve students to actively participate in the learning process that takes place in collaboration between students and teachers. According to Machmuda, (2008) this method is very suitable to be applied in eighth grade, because students tend to be more active in the class participation when the teacher used this method and students can think critically when they understand the responsibility of the teacher get to speak. class especially students can explore their own ideas in a relaxed way and stay focused on when they are learning .especially when students are learning a lot.

Based on the analysis of the data collected through the questionnaire, it was found that the use of active learning has been analyzed in improving students' vocabulary mastery, because they receive new vocabulary every day. This method also helps students to be more active in the questions as well as train them in speaking English even though they are not fluent in full English because they still lack vocabulary.
