This study aims to determine the effect of manga comics in improving students' reading comprehension in literal (main idea) and interpretive (conclusion) comprehension. In order for the teacher to understand the meaning of the text, he must use the method of interest. Predicting the meaning of the text through a series of pictures will help the students to predict the meaning of the text more easily and also attract the attention of the students with an interesting picture. It reveals that it is necessary to define that as a reader it is very important in understanding the content of the text to know the main idea of ​​the text as well as the details of the text.

Literal reading refers to acquiring the meaning of an idea or information that is explicitly expressed in the text.

Based on the table 4.2 above, it shows that the classification of the students achieved reading comprehension in terms of main idea in pre-test there are , 9 (45%) students got fair, 9 (45%) students got poor and 2 ( 10% ) student became very poor. Based on the table 4.2 above, it shows that the classification of the students reading comprehension in terms of main idea in post-test there are 13 (65%) students got excellent students got good, 2 (10%) students got fairly good and 2 ( 10%) students got fair. Based on the table 4.2 above, it shows that the classification of the students reading comprehension in terms of main idea in pre-test there is , 1 (5%) students got fairly good, 2 (10%) students got fair, 4 (20%) ) students became poor and 13 (65%) students became very poor.

Based on table 4.2 above, it shows that the classification of the students score reading comprehension in relation to main idea in the post-test there are 3 (15%) students got excellent, 2 (10%) students got quite good and 2 (10%) students were fair, 12 (60%) students became poor and 1 (5%) student became very poor. The result of calculating the t-test of the indicators in the students' t-test in literal and interpretive reading comprehension is greater than the t-table (30.61 > 2.11). The result of calculating the t-test of the indicators in the students' t-test in literal and interpretive reading comprehension is greater than the t-table (43.04> 2.03).

It means that, there is a significant difference between students' literal and interpretive reading comprehension score in reading through Manga Comic after treatment. The research finding that students' reading comprehension using Manga Comic showed the improvement of students' reading comprehension in terms of main idea and conclusion. The students' reading score in the pre-test was low, especially in finding the main idea and conclusion.

The students' post-test score is higher than the average students' pre-test score. The t-test calculation result of indicators in students' t-test reading comprehension (literal and interpretive comprehension) is greater than t-table.

FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

Findings

The conclusion of the research is that the effect of using manga comics on students' reading comprehension is in literal comprehension and interpretive comprehension. The literal reading comprehension of students using Manga Comic is different in pre-test and post-test. Based on the table 4.1 above, it can be seen that the score of literally 78.92% of the students in the posttest improved after teaching reading comprehension in terms of main idea using Manga Comic.

The graphic above that there was an improvement in students' reading comprehension in terms of literal comprehension from pre-test with the mean score was 51.00 to post-test with the mean score was 91.25 and the improvement from pre-test to post -test was 78.92%. The graphic above that there was an improvement in students' reading comprehension in terms of interpretation comprehension from pre-test with mean score was 36.50 to post-test with mean score was 60.00 and the improvement from pre-test to post-test was 64, 38%. In this case, the researcher used t-test (significance test) for independent sample test, it was a test to know the significance difference between the results of students' mean scores in pre-test and post-test, the researcher used t-test analysis at significance level (a) = 0 .05 with the degree of freedom (df) = N – 1, where N = Number of subjects (20 students) then the value of t-table was 2.03 t-test statistic, analysis for independent sample is used.

The table above shows that the t-test value is higher than the t-table value. It is said that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (HI) is accepted. If the t-test value is higher than the t-table at the 0.05 level of significance and the degree of freedom (df) 20 (N-I=20-1), then the alternative hypothesis (HI) is accepted and the null hypothesis (HO) is rejected.

Instead, if the value is lower than the t-table at the 0.05 level of significance and 19 degrees of freedom, then the alternative hypothesis is rejected and the null hypothesis is accepted. Discussion

The result of the average score of the students after the introduction to teaching reading comprehension using Manga Comic is better than before the treatment is given to the students. Based on the above findings in the application of Manga Comic in the classroom, the data is collected through the test, as explained in the previous section of the findings, it shows that the students' understanding in the literal score has improved from the average score in the pre-test and post. - test. Therefore, it can be concluded that the effect of Manga Comic can improve students' comprehension in the literal sense of reading.

Therefore, it can be concluded that the effect of Manga Comic could improve students' understanding of interpretive understanding. This means that the effect of using Manga Comic in teaching reading comprehension could improve students' reading comprehension. The effectiveness of students' literal and interpretive understanding in literacy, it is concluded that Manga Comic Give the effect of improving students' understanding in literal and interpretive in reading.

Based on the explanation above, the researcher analyzed that Manga Comic can improve the students' reading comprehension. This was proven by the result of students' performance in dialogue text manga comic form. This means that the Manga Comic can be used as one of the alternatives to learn Dialogue Text Manga Comic form.

Manga Comic is effective to increase students' literal reading comprehension of the main idea, it was improved by the average score of literal comprehension before and after treatment with t-test value, the comprehension of the main idea is greater than the t-table. Manga Comic is effective in increasing students' interpretive reading comprehension. Finally, it was improved by the mean score of interpretive understanding before and after treatment with t-test, interpretive understanding is greater than t-table.
