This research aimed to find the improvement of students' reading comprehension by using Blog that focused on literal comprehension in relation to the main idea and interpretive understanding in relation to conclusion. The sample of the research was class XI IPA of SMA Batara Gowa which consisted of 21 students. The result of the research was that the average score, literal reading, obtained by the students through pre-test was 69 and post-test was 77.2 with t-test value main idea is greater than t-table (8.0> 2.08).
The result of calculating the t-test of indicators in the student's t-test reading comprehension (literal and interpretive comprehension) was greater than t-table 15.6> 2.08. It means that there is a significant difference between before and after giving the treatment). It was concluded that the use of Blog in English reading activity increases students' reading comprehension in narrative text precisely in identifying specific information. Blog use increased literal comprehension in terms of main idea and interpretive comprehension score in terms of inference. Based on the writer's observation with EleventhGrade Students of SMA Batara Gowa, she found the problem of teaching reading comprehension. The writer believes that the use of Blog is an effective method to increase the reading comprehension of students, forcing them to interact critically with the text. Based on the above reasons, the writer wants to carry out an experimental research in reading comprehension with the title: Using Blog to Increase Students'.

It was no surprise that reading is one of the most important skills in learning a foreign language. This process also includes text-related variables, such as readers' interest in texts and their understanding of text genres. It includes the skills of developing vocabulary, identifying and remembering details, outlining the general idea presented in a text, understanding the organizational structure of a text, and following directions.
RSS: Allows readers to keep up to date with any updates to the blog without having to visit it. Using blogs is one way to provide such motivation to read in a language other than the native language through the interactive nature of the blog. However, if the information the students learn is incorrect, all students will be misinformed.
Regarding the topic it covers: A blog that deals with education is called edublog and one that deals with the blogger himself is called personal blog. Students can increase their reading comprehension, search reading texts, post and comment on all the reading texts in the blog. There was no significant difference in the students' reading comprehension before they gave the treatment using Blog.
There was a significant difference in the students' reading comprehension after giving the treatment through the use of Blog.

Dependent variable in this research was the result of the test on students' literal and interpretive comprehension in reading activities of eleventh grade students of SMA BataraGowa. The reading test was only focused on finding the literal comprehension refers to the main idea and interpretive comprehension refers to the conclusion of the text, because the students' performance in reading comprehension is less comprehensible. The average score for the students in the pre-test was 69 and the post-test, which should be 77.2.
The average score of the students on the pre-test was 67.3 and on the post-test 75. The result of the data analysis t-test of the students' reading comprehension using Blog in Table 4.7. It meant that there was a significant difference between the results of the students' literal and interpretive reading comprehension when reading using Blog after the treatment.
The results of the research showed that the students' reading comprehension using the Blog showed an improvement in the students' reading comprehension in terms of main idea and conclusion. The students' reading score in the pretest was low, especially in finding the main idea and conclusion. Student pretest and posttest scores, gain/difference between matched pairs (D), and gain squared.
FINDING AND DISCUSSION
Discussion
Based on the problem above, the author gave the treatment using Blog, so that the students could show the improvement in the post-test. The description of the data collection through reading test as explained to the previous findings section that the students' performance after using Blog was significant. So, based on the previous statement, the author believed that using Blog in reading activity can help the students to do interest in reading activity and it can make the students understand about the main idea and conclusion of reading text they are reading.
This meant that the use of Blog in teaching reading comprehension can improve the students' reading comprehension. It was concluded that the use of Blog improves the students' comprehension in literal and interpretive reading. But, the students' reading comprehension in post-test, which can be understood the content of reading comprehension.
And then the students were easy to answer the questions and find out main idea, conclusion. The use of Blog is effective in increasing the students' literal reading comprehension in main idea, this is proved by the mean score of literal comprehension before and after treatment is 69, 77.2 is improved 11.8% with the t-test value main idea comprehension is greater than t-table (8.0> 2.08) in the eleventh grade students of SMA Batara Gowa. The use of Blog is effective in increasing the students' interpretive reading comprehension in conclusion, this is proven by the average score interpretive comprehension before and after treatment is 67.3 75 is improved 11.4% with the t-test value interpretive comprehension is greater than t - table (7.6 > 2.08).
The result of calculating the t-test of the indicators in the student's t-test reading comprehension (literal and interpretive comprehension) is greater than t-table 15.6> 2.08. It is suggested to English teacher by English teacher of eleventh grade students in SMA Batara Gowa to use a blog to present the reading comprehension materials because it is effective in increasing students' reading comprehension.
