Reflexology
Revenues for the U.S. spa industry grew an unprec- edented 124 percent from 1999 to 2002 and those revenues are still growing, according to an ISPA spa industry report. Reflexology continues to grow in demand in the alternative health field.
The Indiana spa industry catapulted forward in 2006 by nearly a thousand jobs related to the renovation at Baden Springs. Reflexology grows in visibility and demand with medical spas now at two Clarian Health hospitals.

Fees and Dates
The one-time Certificate Program Fee of
$35.00 is due upon registration. Course Fee: Per module plus non-refundable application fee, $30 manual, $5 chart and textbooks.

Admission Requirements
Students must be 18 years of age, a high school student in good standing or submit a high school diploma or GED; submit admission application and be willing to give and receive reflexology during and outside class.

Restore Inc., educational provider to IUPUI Community Learning Network, recognizes professional reflexology standards upheld by the American Reflexology Certification Board as the model for U.S. professional reflexologists.
This program offers comprehensive scholastic information to meet ARCB registration for national certification.
CLass LoCation/times
The three core modules meet 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday- Sunday, two weekends per module and includes inde- pendent study: Intro to Professional Reflexology, $670;
Intermediate Professional Reflexology, $500; Advanced Professional Reflexology, $500. The final two modules are scheduled personally with instructors: Practical Application, Skills Assessment and Documentation Standards, each
$200. Students seeking certification must satisfactorily complete each of the five modules in order. Students not seeking certification may take one or more of the first three modules.

Prepare students for a successful career as reflexologists;
train in the development of business skills, marketing and ethics, teach thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and body systems as related to reflexology; offer a thorough knowledge of reflexes as they are anatomically reflected on the feet; teach competency in effective manipulation of
reflexes on the feet that correspond to organs and parts of the body; and inform students about
ethical scope of practice.
dismissaL Conditions
Possession/unlawful use of drugs/alcohol on school property; attendance in an impaired condition; atten- dance below class requirements; behavior detrimental to the program; and failure to pay tuition.

Students are expected to attend all classes. Absence/
tardiness will be recorded. Illness or emergencies warrant make-up of materials before end of program.
Reinstatement will be at administration’s discretion.

Students must secure their own financial lender. Career Training Loans or Veteran’s Benefits could be available.

A 100 percent refund is available only by written notifi- cation to CLN three business days before first class, 75 percent refund is available only with withdrawal the day of or after first class. After that, no refund will be issued.
