THE ROLE OF THE TANJUNG BUTON CLASS II KSOP OFFICE IN THE SHIP SAFETY CERTIFICATE PROSES

Abstract
One implementation of public services,namely the administration of the safety certification on the ship and Certification Section of Legal Status of Ship (SHSK) in the office Kesyahbandaran and Otoritas Harbor Class II Tanjung Buton.Boat safety certification is important papers on the ship,to show that the ship meets the requirement of law or regulation.To get this ship safety certificate,required tests where the minimum requirements needed to be met.This study aims to determine the quality of ship safety certification services in the section on the legal status and certification of ships in the Office Kesyahbandaran and Otoritas Harbor Class II Tanjung Buton.
The research method used was observation and interviews, regarding the process of ship safety certificates and ship safety certificate documents at the Tanjung Buton Class II KSOP Office.
The result of the final project is knowing the role of KSOP in the process of making a Ship Safety Certificate.
