VERIFICATION OF SCHOLARSHIPS PAID TO A STUDENT Because the IUPUI Office of Student Scholarships is responsible for the proper administration of student scholarships, it must recognize all scholarships. The Office of Financial Aid awards students Perkins Loans, National Direct Student Loans (NDSL), Federal Care Loans, Health Professions Loans, or other college loans.

Bank loans and university loans must be repaid, both principal and accrued interest, by the student or parent as defined in the terms of the loan type. The original loan slip and any attached documents must be signed by the student and returned to SLA in the enclosed envelope.
Any account fees that remain unpaid after all aid is applied or awards are canceled become the responsibility of the student. When SLA receives the signed promissory note, it is posted to the student's account and the corresponding credit is posted.
