Although SUite University of New York is one of the 1,n-gcst state universities in the country, its students have the added advantages of attending relatively small colleges. The pottery industry did all the things expected of it and, in doing so, greatly expanded the knowledge and prestige of pottery.

Any special provisions will be made through joint consultation with the swdent's advisor and his academic dean. A student who is dismissed from the University for the first time (or for academic reasons) is usually granted conditional reinstatement after one second semester. To do so, he must request a letter of readmission from his academic dean as the chairperson of the school's board of trustees responsible for dismissal.

The Committee will be particularly interested in indications that the 'itudcnt will continue its studies more successfully than in the past. Such action is normally taken only after [full consideration by the Disciplinary Committee and the approval of the President.
