ABSTRACT
Armawati.Students’ Perception of Learning Process on Speaking Class Through Online at the Second Semester of IAIN Parepare in Covid-19 Situation. (Supervised by Ismail Latief and Hj. Nanning).
This research problem is about,how are the students’ perception about learning process on speaking class through online? and the objective of the research is : to find out about students’ perception of learning process on speaking class through onlineespecially at second semester from English Department in IAIN Parepare.
The research applied the descriptive qualitative design to answer the problem of this thesis. The subject of this study students from tarbiyah faculty at the second semester of English Department in IAIN Parepare and the samples of this research were 40 students of English program who is in the second semester by used random sampling technique. The researcher used questionnaire and interview as instrument for this research.
The result of data analysis showed that students perception of learning process through online on speaking class are enough category in every aspects, it based on students interview and result from questionnaire, with details aspect; learning process got percentage 61,25%, lecturer and students interaction aspect got percentage 57%
and the last are tools and infrastructure got percentage 65%.
