To further reinforce this fact, English is the native language of more than 350 million people worldwide.
Researchers assume that the limitations students face are the cause, and of the problems these students face, researchers intend to solve the problem through research, with different approaches. Concept of Speaking 1. Definition of speaking

- Elements of Speaking a. Vocabulary
- The Problems in Speaking
- Solving of Problems in Speaking
Emma Rosana Febriyanti states that “speaking is one of the important skills that EFL students need to acquire because sometimes success is measured in terms of the ability to hold a conversation in the target language. Based on the above statement, the researchers found that speaking is one of the ways to communicate with others, which is one of the main skills that students need to master in order to share information with others, so some aspects that can support students are needed. ' speaking skills. According to Richard and Willy a.Renandy, speaking is one of the elements of communication.
This is hardly surprising when you consider all that is involved when speaking: ideas, what to say, language, how to use grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening to and responding to the person you are communicating with. This may not sound like an anxiety problem, but anxiety can cause some of the movements that you used to be natural to become unnatural, and some of the automatic movements to become more manual. Confidence is the belief in the students ability to race up to your ability (as you have demonstrated throughout the season).
Learning environment is the place or space where learning takes place, which includes classroom size, group size, tools and equipment provided. In learning a second language, students are influenced by native language use because it is easier and they feel natural to speak. So mother tongue can influence students to produce foreign language, if they speak in small groups it can be quite difficult to get some classes, especially the loss disciplines or motivated to stick to the target language.
There are some methods to solve speaking problems that a teacher should do to help students. Group work will help students who do not want to speak and hold back speaking in front of a full class. Because dividing students into groups can increase the number of students who will speak, as they will share and discuss the topic with each other before presenting the topic to the class.
Do not give students the easiest and also the hardest activities, the activity should be based on the level of the students, the level of language needed for discussion should be lower than that used in intensive language learning activities in the same class. : it should be easy for the participant to recall and produce, but not too easy. Stimulating interest in discussion by providing students with a good topic will give students the atmosphere to discuss in the classroom and show their best speaking performance according to the given topic. Tell students to make sure that everyone in the group contributes to the discussion by giving their opinion or idea;
During the class discussion, the teacher monitors the students and the teacher has a note on ungrammatical sentences, or the teacher can appoint one of the groups as a monitor whose job it is to remind the participants to use the target language and possibly report back to the teacher later. teacher how well the group retains it. First, the researcher observed the students' activity in learning English, especially in speaking skills, and then identified the speaking sub-skill that affected the problems, and then the researcher divided the problems into internal and external to describe them.

- Vocabularies’ Problems Faced by the Students a. Limited vocabulary while speaking
Based on table 4.2, percentage of the data showed that there were 36 students, none of them scored low (0%) and very low (0%). So the result could be shown that the students of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar were average categorized. In addition to giving the speaking test to ensure the result of this research, the researcher also interviewed the students by asking several questions to the students related to their ability to pronounce, so that the students can answer all questions according to their own mind.
4 I don't know how to say English words because my teacher rarely speaks English in class. Based on the table above, we can see that for each question, the different number of answers given by the researcher consists of 10 (ten) questions, and for each question, the students must answer with “Yes” or. Based on the result after I got the answer from the students, based on the number of responses from the students, the frequent students who gave a positive answer or yes answer is 114 answers, and for the students who gave a negative answer or a negative were 246 responses.
From the explanation above, we can see that the compared students' answers are very different, of all the questions, the majority of the students responded negatively. From this case, the researcher concludes that there are some cases that the students face related to their involvement with English language.
Discussions
The student takes long pauses while searching for the meaning of frequent desire and ceasing to give. It can create trouble and difficulty for students, and if students secure a problem, they always want to lose it. The speaking quality of the third semester student at Makassar Muhammadiyah University is still in the low category.
It will be better than this if they try to use English every day in their class. Keep in touch with someone who also likes English because they have a lot more attention than those who don't. While we have the problems in their dialect, the solution is to train their pronunciation to improve.
The result of this study showed that the students in the third semester of Muhammadiyah University still scored average. The first part deals with the conclusion of the findings, and the second part deals with suggestions that include recommendations regarding the implication of the findings and for further related researchers.
