The first one is auditory and has to do with response caused by sound waves stimulating the sensory receptors of the ear; hearing is the perception of the sound, not necessarily paying attention, you have to hear to listen. Informative listening is the situation in which the primary concern of the listener is to understand the message. It is the response of the listener, not the source of the message, that determines appreciative listening.

Being sensitive to changes in speaker frequency, magnitude, loudness, pitch, and focus, the keen listener can also detect nuances of change in context. Intensive listening is a type of listening that refers to listening to the text closely, with the aim of deciphering the input for analysis purposes. Decoding the bottom-up process in segmenting individual words outside the speech stream will require bottom-up processing.

Top-down is broadly the opposite of bottom-up, and emphasizes the listener's use of their current awareness of a topic and the related context in creating assumptions about the speaker's meaning and changing them to accommodate new incoming information. adjust as needed. They do it for fun so that their knowledge of the language improves and it makes the student better readers. The listener cannot control the speed of the person delivering the message, and they feel that the message delivered is gone, they can understand the content of the message.

Limited vocabulary owned by the listener makes the listener unable to understand the content of the text he hears, can even make them bored and frustrated. The inability of the listener to recognize and understand the 'signs' sent by the speaker, which causes the listener to misunderstand the content of the message it receives. The JOOX application is a streaming music service that can be used to listen or download songs.

This feature allows users of the JOOX mobile app to share and comment on songs that their friends on WeChat, the "WeChat Moments" timeline, and Facebook users are listening to. After the students write down some of the words they learned from listening to the song, the teacher shows the correct words in the song and then asks the students to match them if they write the wrong words. Then the teacher asks the students to choose a difficult or unknown word and write down the meaning of the word.

Research findings would like to discuss the results of the pretest and posttest research that were collected through the research. The discussion would like to discuss the description of the research findings that were analyzed. A description of the results of the data analysis will be included in the research findings.

Description of the results of data analysis of students' listening ability through the JOOX application, in which data were collected from 26 students as an experimental group using fill-in-the-blank and question-answering. First, the researcher explained the researcher's objective to the students. Based on the table, the pre-test normality test results show that the Kolmogorov-Smirnov value is significant at 0.063 and the Shapiro-Wilk value at 0.084 using a significant level of 0.05.

Then, the results of the post-test normality test showed that the Kolmogorov-Smirnov value was significant at 0.142 and the Shapiro-Wilk 0.288 using a significant level of 0.05. Based on the table paired sample test above, the t-test -54.780 is negative because the mean score for the pretest was lower than the mean score for the posttest. The researcher used this value as a basic reference for calculating the t-table in the distribution of the t-table statistic.

According to Nurizmawati (2013), the use of the media in the teaching and learning process provides the students with input. Based on the result of the interview done by the researcher, about 26 students said that it is difficult in listening skills through the JOOX application. This chapter consists of the conclusion and suggestions for the study based on the findings and discussion in the previous chapter.

It has been proven that the standard deviation shown and the average score of the students as an experimental group has become better in the post-test than in the pre-test and the hypothesis test test t > t table (54.780>1.708. The researcher hopes that this side of the school accepted what the writer has done in that school.2016).Using song lyrics in teaching listening (a case study of 8th grade of first high school in Bandung).
