The fox and the stork

Narrator : one day a fox invited a stork to her house for a meal. The fox brought out two flat plates with soup on them.

The fox : “stork, the meal is nothing fancy, but I hope you like it”

Narrator : the fox deliciously lapped up all of the soup on her plate.

The fox : “hmmm yum. This is so good. Eat up, stork”

Narrator : but the stork was not able to taste it. The stork beak was too long and pointy to eat the soup off the flat dish

The fox : “ ohh, stork. You must not like the soup. Then I shall eat your soup for you? Hmmmm its delicious”

Narrator : the next day, the stork invited the fox over to her house for a meal. The stork put some soup into two long, thin-necked jars

The stork : “fox, this is a special family recipe. I hope you enjoy it”

Narrator : the stork put her beak in a long, thin-necked jar. And she ate soup The stork : “hmmmm yummy, this is my favourite soup”

Narrator : but this time, the fox was not able to taste it. Her wide snout couldn’t fit inside the thin, long- necked jar

The stork : “oh I’m sorry, fox. I guess you must not like the soup”

Narrator : the stork began to eat all of fox’s soup too

The lion and the mouse

Narrator : one sunny day, a lion was resting after eating a wonderful meal.

When all of sudden, a busy mouse that was running around accidentally bumped into him.

The lion : “wooooaaaaa, how dare you carelessly wake me up like that?

Wooooaaaarrrrrrrr”

Narrator : the lion got up and caught the mouse. He was just about to eat him. But, the scared little mouse begged the lion for mercy.

The mouse : “oooo great lion, please spare me. I know that one day you will need my help, please please”

The lion : “hahahahaha, exactly what can little mouse like you do to help a big lion like me? Anyway, I’m already full, so I will let you go”

Narrator : the lion laughed loudly and set the mouse down. A few days later, the lion got caught in a hunter’s trap, he hung there helplessly

The lion : “whooa whooa help, help, please somebody help me

Narrator : the lion was stuck in the net and could not move at all. Just then tittle mouse heard the lion’s cries. So, he went to see what was going on.

The mouse : “mr.lion, hang tight. I will save you

Narrator : the mouse started to gnaw on one piece of the net, and then another. Until finally, the lion was free

The lion : “my little friend, thank you for saving me. I will underestimate you or your size again.

Thankyou so much mouse. You truly saved me”

The mouse : “you are welcome, my big friend”

The turtle and the rabbit

Narrator : there was once a turtle that slowly crawled through a forest.

The rabbit : “boing… boing”

Narrator : a bouncing rabbit saw the turtle and made fun of him The rabbit : “make way!! Make way!! I’m bouncing through. Hey slowest, didn’t you hear me? Move out of the way!!

Narrator : the anger turtle stopped walking and said

The turtle : “hey, lets race to the top of the mountain and see who gets there faster”

The rabbit : “you think you can beat me? Fine, lets do it. Ready… set… go!!!

Narrator : so, the rabbit bounced away and the turtle slowly crawled. And away-went. While slowpoke turtle crept and crawled with bullets of sweat dripping down.

The rabbit : “hmmm, now, where is turtle? Wow, he is so far behind. It will take him forever to catch up, so I think I will take a nap”

Narrator : while rabbit slept, the turtle never stopped walking. Sure enough, the turtle crawled past sleepyhead rabbit. And he crawled to the top of the hill

The turtle : “hey, here. I beat you. Hahaha The rabbit : “huuuh? What?”

The turtle : “you embarrassed yourself by trying to show off”

The crow and the fox

Narrator : one bright morning, a crow was flying around and saw a piece of cheese on a window sill.

The crow : “ohhh, cheese. Yummy. Even if my friends beg me, I’m not sharing. Ha ha ha”

Narrator : the crow quickly took the cheese in his beak, and flew off high in the sky. After flying far, far away, the crow landed on a branch The fox : “I have never seen a bird as beautiful as you”

Narrator : upon hearing these wonderful words, the crow immediately began to look around.

The crow : “huh?”

The fox : “and, how do you keep your feathers so lustrous?

Narrator : the crow could see the fox under the tree, praising him

The crow : “hmmm, you can not fool me! I know you are just want my cheese”

The fox : “now, all you need a beautiful singing voice and you will be seen as the most amazing crow ever”

Narrator : then, the crow was determined to show off his voice The crow : (singing) I love you, you love me

Narrator : Just the crow open his mouth, the cheese fell from his beak onto the ground. The fox ran for the fallen pience of cheese and took it in her mouth.

The fox : “thanks crow”

Narrator : the crow cried as hard as he could

The ant and the grasshopper

The grasshopper : “hmmm hmmmm hmmmm, I love summer, I love singing”

Narrator : sang grasshopper, resting on a tree on a hot summer day. While under the tree, ant was sweating and slaving away.

The ant : “heee hoo, heee hoo”

The grasshopper : “life is too short to work so hard, hahahaha”

Narrator : grasshopper said to ant, because ant was working all summer long.

The ant : “listen grasshopper, if you don’t prepare for winter now, you are going to starve”

The grasshopper : “ohh, there’s plenty of time. Why worry? I’m going to go back to my singing now.

hmmm hmmm hmmm”

Narrator : in no time, summer went and the freezing winter came. The wind howled and howled and bucked of snow fell from the winter sky

The grasshopper : “ohh… I’m so hungry. I’m so could. What if ant is right? And I starve to death?”

Narrator : Grasshopper went to look for food. Luckly, grasshopper found ant’s house. And he knocks the door.

The grasshopper : “please ant, will you give me some food? Or even just a crumb, please?

The ant : “don’t worry grasshopper, I have plenty of food. Come on in!

Narrator : grasshopper went inside. He sat next to the fire and ate.

The grasshopper : “this is delicious. Thankyou ant. And I’m really sorry for making fun for you before”

The ant : “that’s okay, you can help me next year”

Narrator : finally, grasshopper understood why ant worked so hard

The ant and the bird

Narrator : On a hot summer day, a tittle ant went down to the river for some water. As the tittle ant walked to the tip of the leaf to get a drink of water, a sudden gust of wind blew him into the river.

The ant : “help..help.. someone please help!!” “help, help!!”

The bird : “oh no little ant, im going to throw you a leaf. Get on top of it okay?”

Narrator : thanks to the leaf, the ant was saved and he was able to make it back onto the land again.

The ant : “Pheeeew im saved! Thankyou so much.”

The bird : “never mind, a friend should help each other, right?”

The ant : “I will never forget what you did for me.”

Narrator : When the little ant looked up to look at the bird, he saw a hunter aiming his bow and arrow at his new bird friend.

The ant : “it’s a hunter, friend!! Watch out! There’s a hunter! Quick fly away, friend! Fly away!”

Narrator : Even after the ant’s cries, the bird still had no clue as to what was going on. The little ant did not know what to do except bite the hunter’s foot. The screaming startled the bird. He saw the hunter and quickly flew away.

The bird : “thankyou ant, you saved my life. I love you so much”

The ant : “And you saved mine, thankyou so much” “hahahaha”

The cicada and the fox

Narrator : on a hot summer day, a cicada was singing on top of the tree

The cicada : “kriiik kriiik kriiik”

The fox : “oooh, I’m so hungry. That cicada will be a great meal. Ohh but is too high. How can I catch cicada?”

The fox : “Ooo I got this.”

The fox : “Hellow there, you are really great singer, your voice is beautiful and it makes me so happy”

The cicada : :oh, really? Thank you. I’m glad to hear you liked it”

The fox : “I wis I could sing as well as you. Why don’t I give you some fruit, and you teach me to sing?”

The cicada : “you want me to come down there?

The fox : “why not?”

The cicada : “okay then, I will be right there. Please wait.”

The fox : “I will be waiting for you” “hihihi I’m a genius”

Narrator : the cicada through some brown leaves, and the fox ate it The fox : “ooo what is this? Leaves?

The cicada : “ I know it. Did you think I’d fall for your trick? I was saw a cicada’s wings in a fox’s poop! I haven’t believed foxes since then. No way I’m getting down there

The fox : “huhuhuhuhuhu”

Narrator : the fox cried and run as hard as she could

The Oak and the Reed

Narrator : The oak tree was very proud of itself

The Oak : “My trunk is big and strong. My branches are thick and plenty. And, my green leaves are shiny. There is no other tree that is as great as me.”

Narrator : The oak tree would snicker at the flimsy stalk of the reed as it was bending with the breeze.

The Oak : “Reed! Oh, reed! How do you survive with your scrawny little stalk? Even with the slightest breeze, you move to and fro, to and fro. Ha ha ha”

Narrator : No matter what the oak tree said, the reed just swayed back and forth quietly. Then, one day, a storm hit. Lighting lashed, and thunder crashed.

The Oak : “I’m going to be fine with my big, strong stump. But, what about you?”

Narrator : The oak tree stood strong and proud as it fought hard against the storm. But just then, a huge gust od wind snapped the oak tree’s trunk in half. The red finally spoke

The Reed : “Hey, oak tree! It’s great that you have a strong trunk. But, sometimes, it is important to bend with the wind!”

Narrator : The reed continued to bend until the storm subsided.

The Sly Fox

Narrator : in the middle of the forest a large piece of meat was on a path. A dog and a cat both saw it at the same time and ran for it.

The Dog : “I saw it first. So, this meat is mine!”

The Cat : “Meooow…. Meoooow…… No way! I got here first so it’s mine!

Narrator : A passing fox stop for a moment to help them.

The Fox : “Stop fighting, guys! All you have to do is just split the meat in half.”

Narrator : So, the fox started to tear the meat into two parts with her sharp teeth.

The Fox : “Uh-oh. This one is bigger.”

Narrator : The fox pretended to think for a moment. Then, she took a bite of the bigger piece. Uh-oh the fox took a bite that was way too big. The larger piece was now smaller than the other.

The Fox : “ Hmmmm…. Now this piece is bigger.”, “Oh, this one is bigger again.”

Narrator : The fox continued to take bites of each piece of meat pretending to make them equal. After all of the bites, the fox ended up eating all the meat.

The Fox : “I’m so sorry. It looks like I’ve eaten all of the meat. Well, I better go then.”

The Cat : “Hmmmm… if we just shared, we would have eaten some meat. Instead, all we did was feed the fox.”

Narrator : The fox and the cat cried

The Peacock and The Crane

Narrator : Once there was a beautiful peacock in the woods.

Birds : “wow… Peacock! Your feathers are so beautiful!”

The Peacock: “Colorful and shiny. Aren’t they gorgeous?”

Birds : “Yes, they are. I wish I could have colorful feathers just like you.”

The Peacock: “Ha ha ha, Only I, the peacock, can have these beautiful feathers. Don’t even dream about it.”

Birds : “What a show off!”

Narrator : The peacock went to the riverside for some water.

The peacock : “Who is that? A long neck and cool legs. Looks quite elegant, but I don’t like the feathers thought.”

The peacock : “Hi. Who are you? I’ve never seen you around.”

The crane : “I’m a crane.”

The peacock : “A crane huh?. I’m a peacock. I have feathers that are shiny and gorgeous.”

The crane : “Oh, right. They look good.”

Narrator : the carne walked along the river.

The peacock : “Huh… She wasn’t even surprised!” Look at all these colors of the rainbow on my feathers.

What’s wrong with yours? They look gray and dusty!”

The crane : “Yes, you are very beautiful. But I don’t envy you at all.”

The peacock : “What? Don’t lie! How could you not envy these beautiful feathers?”

The crane : “I can fly up into the sky with my wings. I travel around the world and go whereever I want.”

The peacock : “Oh I see.”

The crane : “what can you do with those feathers? Grooming and showing off, what else can you do? It seems you look good on the outside but not inside.”

Narrator : The peacock felt so ashamed, he folded his feathers.

The peacock : “Oh, gee.”

The crane & birds : “ ha ha ha ha ha”

The Bat, the Beast and the Bird

Narrator : Long. Long time ago a battle broke out between the beast of the of the ground and the birds in the sky.

A cowardice bat watched the fight to see which side would win. As soon as he saw the beasts winning he decided to hide his wings and find the King Lions.

The Bat : Your Majesty, since I resemble a land creature, like a mouse, I would be a part of your team.”

The Lion : “Roooaarrr…. Wow! Yes, I can see that. From now on Bat, you are one of us. Ha Ha!”

Narrator : Before long, the birds of the sky began to gain control. Now, the worried bat decided he needed to visit with the King of the Birds, The eagle.

The Bat : “Your Majesty, I, too, have wings of a bird. Please let me join you.”

The Eagle : “All right, bat. From now on, you are a bird.”

Narrator : The fighting between the beasts and the birds endlessly continued. Ans the cowardice bat continued to go back and forth, changing his position. One day the battles were finally over. And, there was peace in the forest.

The Lion : “King Eagle, from now on, the beasts and the birds are one.”

The Eagle : “Yes, King Lion. We are now one family.”

Narrator : The cowardice bat, however, wasn’t welcomed by either side.

The Lion : “We don’t want anything to do with your kind. Leave the forest! Roar!”

The Eagle : “You Bat, leave the forest!”

The Donkey and the Lion’s skin

Narrator : There was once a donkey always full of complains.

The Donkey : “huuuh….. Why does everyone made fun at me all the time? If only I was a lion, everyone would be afraid and look up to me. Huuuuuh….. I guess I look too weak.”

Narrator : The donkey walked and something made he fell.

The donkey: “What’s this? Oh my, it’s a lion! Please, please don’t eat me. I will never forget your kindness! Hmmmm…. That’s weird, Why isn’t moving? Mr. Lion? Mr. Lion? MR. LIOOOON!!

What? It’s the skin of a lion. With it’s pointy teeth, and sharp claws, it looks scary just like a real one! Trying it on won’t do harm, will it?

Narrator : The donkey tried to wear the lion’s skin The Donkey : “I look loke a real lion!” hiii… hii… Roooar.”

Narrator : Just then, a rabbit came by the pond.

The Rabbit : “Yikes! It… it’s a lion!” “woaaaaa….”

The Donkey : “Oh, I do look like a real lion! I can’t wait to trick other animals!”

Narrator : The Donkey in the lion’s skin wandered around the forest. Everyone who saw him ran away screaming.

The Rabbit : “Oh my, it’s a lion! Run for your lives!” “Not me, not me!”

The Fox : “No… don’t eat me! Move! Run!”

The Donkey : “This is so fun! I bet I will even sound like a lion right now!” “Rooarr” Out of my way, The king of the forest is here! Yiihaa rooarr”

The Fox : “Wait a minute, That doesn’t sound like a lion!”

The Rabbit : “Yeah, it sounds strange.”

Narrator : Just then, a strong wind blew.

The Donkey : “No, no! Not now!”

Narrator : The Rabbit and the Fox surprised.

The Fox : “Well, well, well, look who’s here! I knew it! He did not sound like a lion at all! Everyone, Listen! The donkey fooled us!”

The Rabbit : “Hey, come here, you!”

The Donkey : “I’m so sorry. Please forgive me.”
