When we have done what we were trying to do, balance the scores and please you too, we will feel that our job is almost over. PETER SCHERER, Director of German, Indianapolis Public Schools, Acting Dean of the Department of Arts and General Sciences, ex officio.

PANTZER, M.D., Dean of the Department of the Dean of Letters and General Science.

DAS DEUTSCHE HAUS

Take one part impulsiveness, one part activity, two parts originality, three parts eloquence, and the rest real ability, and you have "Ev." He is an outdoor track and field star and never says "Unprepared" in any class. This little lady sure has "learning ability" no matter how tired she is after Qay's gym. Gus is full of fun and has an over-the-top 10's of teasing girls who are very hard to keep out of the "solemn and sacred" duties of his job.

She "dives" into her work and pleasure with equal vim and her spirits never drop. It is she who helps the disabled to school and back - who bandages the sprained ankles, and who administers the strychnine to the frogs in the "lab" - so you see we cannot exist without her. She is just as important in the classroom and the children Clara M finds.

If you want to see a girl who is death on the "Blues", full of fun and energy, throw your beautiful balls in the direction of Lill.

Pete was not able to hold many positions at school due to his heavy work in the military. She is known for her dancing and her teaching, but she is just as good at her other work. Flossie used to be a man-hater, but she has reformed and every night you can find her slowly strolling down the New Jersey street with one of 'those bad boys'.

His work here has been very satisfactory and we all wish him as much success in the future as he has had in the past. She never gave up, no matter how hard the exercise was, and now she's getting her reward in the form of a 90 on her report card. She is a good teacher and we know she will get a chance to prove her skills.

Jane Culmer and I, who had arrived early, sat on the toilet waiting for the rest of the "herd". By the way, you should see that room. She is busy keeping an eye on him and supervising her six sons, all of whom have had, or will have, education at our old Normal School. She has become commander in chief of the women's section of the United States Army Aviation Corps and was recently decorated for bravery, having captured two enemy planes by hanging from her machine with one ha!:!d, and taking them with the other.

First, we were pleasantly surprised to receive free tickets to the "Follies of Can you believe it, Corny O'Donnell is the main man. He's just as much fun as ever, and it turns out that being a professional dark-skinned comedian and sideline gives interpretive dance demonstrations He is quite a serious minded being and is currently promoting the Society for the Promotion of Physical Training for the Glove Makers' Union.

I got most of the knowledge and material from a friend at school." Can you guess who. When we finished dinner, Betty said, "Let's go to the show."—that is, Florence, Flossie, T.

He is here on business and works hard, but he is one of the best friends the peers have and always has a kind smile and word for everyone. Joe is from Philly, which in his mind is the home of the gods, and he is strongly in favor of everything that comes from there (even the g~rls). However, his inability to participate in the actual work did not disturb his sunny disposition, for every day he sings•.

Knowing the sound fundamental principles and ideals of the North American Gymnastic Union, we decided to seize our opportunity and come to the Normal College to learn all we could about teaching gymnastics. We are the largest class in the history of the Normal College, and when it comes to quality, modesty is forbidden, but in a year's time we hope to disprove the saying that all good things come in small doses. It was decided to give a dance in honor of the faculty and class of '16, as a small expression of our appreciation for the favors and assistance extended to us while attending school.

College work is very different from high school and preparatory schooling and is probably the first real test of an individual. In conclusion, we wish to express our pride in being students of the Normal School, our gratitude to the faculty for their patience and constant assistance, and our wishes for a bright and successful future for the Class of 1916. The Student Union has passed through one of the most successful years in its history under the presidency of Fritz Berg and by Richard Heinrich.

One of the important undertakings of the Alliance was the administration of the Fencing Tournament which was open to all students of the College. Perhaps it is our 'duty to tell the world who the greatest artists of the Students' Alliance are: Irene Mezek was exceptional at performing interpretive dances. Myles Havlicek and August Pritzlaff, the two star fencers of the Junior Class, offered several good matches.

We believe that at no university is this phase of student life better catered for than by the Normal College Student Alliance. The smoke and fumes still hang as reminders of the boys who should have been there.

On October 31, 1915, a very successful Turning Day was held in the gymnasium of the Socialer Turnverein. Acts were present from Louisville Turngemeinde, Socialer Turnverein, Indianapolis, Turnverein, South Bend, Chicago Turngemeinde, South Side Turnverein, ·IndianapoHs, Central Turnverefo, ·Evansville, Indiana, and a special class selected from the student body of the Normal College . Turner songs sung by the participants enlivened and enlivened both the singers and the large audience.

With the increasing numbers of the new class, our social activities were changed from small affairs to regular dances, and all were well provided with partners. Each was given a badge bearing his name and home town, so that in a short time all were informally introduced, and the feeling that these new friends were to be very good friends was widespread. About a week later, the Socialer Turnverein gave us a reception and we were honored to meet the board members.

At the end of each set was tied a small roll of white paper with the name of the gentleman on it. Another dance, the partners were found by matching cards that were dealt in a grand march. The hall was decorated with black and white bands and the programs also carried this color scheme.

One of the great dances of the year was the return dance given by the men in thanksgiving for the leap year dance. The girls wore beautiful corsage bouquets and looked even more beautiful in the soft pink glow of the dimmed lights. Refreshments were served in the lecture hall, which was decorated in the same colors.

The dance was a great success and the hosts deserve a lot of credit for such a delightful party. And we all feel better for having entered and enjoyed these activities in the healthy company of our classmates.

One of the most interesting and exciting diversions from our routine school work was the intramural baseball series. Krueck pitched for Cincy, while Havlicek and Spier played with the All Stars. Many big league games were made, both in the field and with the bat.

Cincy won the series 2-1 and were extremely fortunate, for not only were they playing a great sport, but they had won the Normal College championship. The response was slow this morning. “It seems like you've all been there.” The Frat initiation began. What is the right thing to wear when going from the locker room to the shower room?

Three fellows were given a week off to study the question.. six Our content is our best offering. Frieda and Dode kept the prisoners busy on the third floor with various lifts and falls. The Lill Galley high jump demonstration was a credit to the second class of boys - everyone applauded.

Olsen attempted to defy the law of gravity by releasing both hands while in an inverted hanging on the rings.
