TWO NEW BATS FROM THE SOUTHWESTERN UNITED _^

ofNew Mexico. Both
are interestingfrom
thefact thatthey
exhibita tendency toward
thecrowding out
ofthemiddle upper premolar, an unusual condition
in thisgenus. Six out
of the eight skullsexamined
lackthis particular tooth.The specimens were
collectedduring
thecourse
of fieldwork
forthe BiologicalSurvey.
