The Concept of Translation

The students of IAIN Metro know that there are two types of phrasal verbs, that are transitive and intransitive phrasal verbs.
Description of Data Analysis
In this research, the researcher had given five participants the questionnaire about the level of accuracy of the intransitive translation of phrasal verbs. In the second sentence, rater 4 gave a score of 2 for the intransitive translation of the phrasal verb into the sentence. In sentence number 7, rater 3 and rater 4 considered the intransitive translation of phrasal verbs to be less accurate.
Both the judges gave the score 2 for the translation of intransitive phrasal verb from English to Indonesia. In sentence number 9, judge 3 and judge 4 also agreed that intransitive phrasal verb translation is inaccurately translated into Indonesian. Readability aspect is to find out whether the intransitive phrasal verb translation is readably translated or not.
Participants had to read more than once to understand the translation meaning of the intransitive phrasal verb from English to Indonesian. This means that it is difficult for the reader to understand the meaning of the translations of intransitive phrasal verbs in this category. They agreed that the intransitive phrasal verb translation in this sentence is difficult to understand the meaning.
Interpretation
ST: While we might be tempted to claim that the five-year-old quoted above knows the difference between, say, a "hole" and a "step," we shouldn't be too quick to dismiss the letter as an insignificant slip of the tongue. The researcher handed five lecturers a questionnaire that included 17 sentences containing an intransitive phrasal verb and its translation. It was shown that in the case of five lecturers, the average rating of the translation of the intransitive phrasal verb is less accurate, i.e. 12 sentences (70%) have a less accurate translation, 3 sentences (18%) are inaccurate and 2 sentences (12%) are accurate.
It can be concluded that the level of readability of intransitive phrasal verb from English to Indonesian is less readable. From the chart above, the percentage for the intransitive translation of phrasal verbs in terms of readability is 15 sentences (88%) are less readable, and 2 sentences (12%) are not readable and there is no readable. The accuracy level of the intransitive translation of phrasal verbs in the Principle of Language Learning and Teaching from English to Indonesian included in the categories proposed by Mangatur Nababan is fair with an average grade of 2.2.
