PEMERIKSAAN NADI
Dilakukan untuk mengetahui berapa kali pembuluh darah arteri mengembang dan
berkontraksi dalam satu menit sebagai respons terhadap detak jantung.
Pengukuran denyut nadi meliputi:
Frekuensi Irama
Kekuatan
Kesetaraan setiap denyutan
Where and When
Pemeriksaan nadi dilakukan pada nadi karotis pada klien kegawatdaruratan.
Penilaian nadi dilakukan maksimal 10 detik pada kondisi
emergency, jika tidak ditemukan maka dinyatakan tidak ada
nadi dan dapat dilakukan tindakan selanjutnya RJP dengan
perbandingan kompresi dan ventilasi 30:2 pada dewasa dan
sesuaikan dengan korban yang ditolong (dewasa, anak, bayi)
Where and When
Jika ada nadi tetapi tadak ada nafas, berikan 1 bantuan nafas setiap 5- 6 detik atau sekitar 10- 12x/menit, selama 2 menit dan cek nadi setelah 2 menit.
SPGDT bisa dilakukan jika penolong tidak dapat
melakukan asessmen awal, nadi dan nafas tidak
dapat diidentifikasi
