1. U Unsur artikel lengkap mulai abstrak, keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, aknowledgment dan referensi.

2. Ruang lingkup dan kedalaman pembahasan: dalam bidang anatomi otot unggas (puyuh), khususnya pemanfaatan serbuk kunyit dan ikan swangi sebagai sumber protein untuk pertumbuhan otot memalui peningkatan metabolism protein. Data dalam 2 tabel, 1 diagram batang (diet protein tingggi – serbuk kunyit terhadap diameter otot) dan 1 foto struktur histologi otot (daging) puyuh sangat mendukung hasil dan pembahasan.

3. Data/informasi dan metodologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental yang terdiri dari aklimatisasi, pembuatan pakan dengan protein tinggi dari ikan swami dikombinasi dengan serbuk kunyit, pengukuran diameter otot dan ketebalan jaringan lemak, dan analisis data. Dari 41 referensi, 90% jurnal dan 56 % diantara <10 tahun 4. Kelengkapan unsur dan kualitas terbitan. Artikel diterbitkan dalam Journal of the Indonesian Tropical Animal

Agriculture terakreditasi A. Open akses. Sejak tahun 2016 sudah terindeks SCOPUS, Q3 SJR 0,17 (2018), H index 8

Kesesuaian dan kelengkapan unsur isi jurnal: Penulisan sudah sesuai dengan “Guide for Author” (Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion, Conclution,Acknowledgement, References) dengan sistem Author. Isi sangat baik. Substansi sesuai bidang ilmu pengusul/penulis pertama (Fisiologi Hewan). Sudah ada benang merah dalam struktur penulisannya (skor=2,50).

2. Ruang lingkup dan kedalaman pembahasan: Tulisan lengkap dan runtut. Substansi artikel sesuai dengan subject area, kategori dan ruang lingkup jurnal (Animal breeding and genetics, Animal feeding and nutrition, Animal reproduction, Animal biotechnology, Animal physiology, Animal production and technology, Animal products technology, Animal management and economics, Animal products processing and animal by-products, Animal microbiology, Livestock farming systems, Other related topics in relation to animal science.). Pembahasan sesuai permasalahan dan kedalaman pembahasan cukup baik (23 dari 41 buah rujukannya dilibatkan dalam proses membahas hasil) (skor=7,50).

3. Kecukupan dan kemutakhiran data/informasi dan metodologi: Publikasi sudah menunjukkan ada kebaruan informasi. Dari 41 buah rujukannya, terdapat 23 buah pustaka acuan yang mutakhir (kurang dari 10 th terakhir).

Terdapat 37 jurnal dari 41 pustaka rujukan. Proses review sudah baik (skor = 7,40).
