Applicants are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (Fellowship as per ASTEC guidelines) in the ASTEC project titled "Studies on shotgun metagenomic sequencing of Probiotic microbial communities from Rice based Fermented Products in Ethnic groups of Southern Assam" funded by ASTEC, Government of Assam, for a period of2 years. The post is temporary and coterminous with the project. The candidate should be M.Sc. in Life Science, Microbiology or Biotechnology. Candidates having knowledge of Microbiological and molecular biological techniques in relation to antibiotic resistance will be preferred. Applicants may walk in for the interview on 10th Ju·ne'2022 via hybrid mode in Assam University along with biodata and supporting documents in original. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
