With reference to the letter cited above, I am to inform you that the Meeting of the Directors/ Directresses of Physical Education of affiliated Colleges was held on 30
thJuly 2012 in the School of Management Auditorium, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry under the chairmanship of Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. J.A.K.Tareen, Chairman, Sports Board, Pondicherry University.
It was decided in the above meeting that the selection Trials will be conducted as per the schedule enclosed herein. The Inter- Collegiate Tournament (Men & Women) for various Games/Sports, Date of selection Trials, Venue & Date of Inter-Collegiate Tournaments, , Name of the team Manager and selection committee members were decided and mentioned in the schedule of sheets.

Note:
1. This may be treated as circular for the selection Trails for the above mentioned Games and Sports. The prescribed eligibility proforma specimen copy is enclosed here in by the University.
2. The team players are requested to produce filled in prescribed eligibility proforma which has to be signed by the Principal / Competent Authority. Without eligibility proforma no student / team will be allowed to participate in the University selection Trails and the Inter-Collegiate Tournaments.
3. Players must bring their college Identity card singed by the Principal/Dean/Director. Accommodation for outstation players will be provided in the University Campus or in the organizing college. The request letter should be sent to the undersigned well in advance.
4. Only bonafide students who are less than 28 years of age as on 1
stJuly, 2012 can participate in the Inter-Collegiate Tournaments as well as in selection Trials.
5. The team Manager and players should report at half an hour before the time of the tournament and submit their College eligibility form. The fixture will be drawn immediately after the receiving the entry. On the same day, the tournament will be inaugurated at right time as per the fixture.
6. Dr. G. Sivaraman, Asst. Director of Physical Education & Sports, will be in charge for organizing Inter Collegiate Tournaments for Men and Tournament Convener.
7. Dr. K. Chandrasekaran, Asst. Director of Physical Education & Sports, will be in charge for organizing inter collegiate Tournaments for Women and Tournament convener.
