Since 2000, Endress+Hauser has also set up a 100 per cent export oriented unit (EOU) with a state-of-the-art Flowmeter factory at Aurangabad (Maharashtra).This is one of Endress+Hauser 's many global manufacturing facilities and operates under the name Endress+Hauser Flowtec (India) Private Limited.This is a wholly owned subsidiary of Endress+Hauser Flowtec AG (a subsidiary of Endress+Hauser AG), which began its production in September 2000 and eventually ramped up its capacity.This facility enables the company to be close to its customers in Asian markets, which is crucial for the development of the Group's business.

In India, Endress+Hauser has been active for the last 25 years. Beginning August 1, 1994, the company came to be represented in India through its Endress+Hauser (India) Branch Office.

Thereafter it re-positioned its status from a representation to setting up its own subsidiary, Endress+Hauser (India) Private Limited, on April 1, 2000, thus enabling itself to cater directly to the needs of the Indian industry.The subsidiary today has its own marketing, engineering and service
