TREE PLANTATION DRIVE (2016)
Green Brigade conducted a tree plantation drive inside the college campus and in the nearby area on 12th August 2016. The program was initiated by the principal of the college planting a sapling in the college campus. Around 60 people joined us in this initiative, along with all Green Brigade members and college faculty to plant trees. We were able to plant a total of over 60 trees. We believe that these trees will help provide everyone fresh air and bring a positive change in and around the campus.

SANRAKSHAN (HERITAGE PRESERVATION) 2016
Sanrakshan was an initiative in which members had a talk with Mr Vikramjeet Singh during the nature walk at Satpula arranged by the society. It was organised on 21st September 2016.
Members participated in the initiative with great enthusiasm. We believe that connecting with the past helps individuals realise the importance of their surroundings and motivates them to work towards its improvement. During the walk, we learned many new facts about the state that we were not at all aware of. The event saw a participation of over 100 members, including both students and faculty.

TALK (WHAT'S IN YOUR SAMOSA?) 2017
What’s in your samosa, organised on 9th February 2017, was a talk with Dr Meenu Nageshwaran from Padma Centre for Soul Realisation. Topic of this talk was NUTRITION AND WELLNESS. There were around 140+ participants and a lot of students were inspired by this talk. The talk focused on discussing the importance of eating healthy by pointing out the problems in what we were actually eating. With its unique take on conveying the message, it piqued the interest of many students. Ma’am also answered everyone’s doubts and left the students inspired and changed for the better.

ENLIVEN IT (2017)
As the name suggests, the event aimed at giving voice to the lifeless. The event consisted of many stone installations through which the stones could “talk” and convey important messages about our environment. The competition gave space to creativity in stones through natural material as accessories. No chemical materials were allowed in this Program. The event, organised on 22nd February, saw a participation of over 20 members. Everyone was very enthusiastic and gave their best efforts to design beautiful structures.
