Hostel Fee Notice BTech 2023 Batch
Following is the Hostel Fee structure for the1stSemester of Academic Year 2023-24.

The Mess at Main Campus is operating under the ‘Pay and eat system’, you have to buy coupons from the mess manager directly. The details are given below..
IMPORTANT NOTE:
1) All the students are directed to pay the above Hostel and Mess fees via the two available modes only:
(A)SB Collect
Procedure for payment through SB Collect:
i) Go to onlinesbi.com, link ishttps://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm ii) Select SB Collect
iii) Tick Term & Conditions and continue iv) Select State “Punjab”
v) Select Educational Institute - IIT Ropar vi) Select the option for payment category vii) Pay the requisite fee
viii) Students who have not received their entry number can enter their JEE Advance roll number in the entry number option.
ix) Submit the printout of the receipt at the time of hostel accommodation and attach the same in the link provided.

(B)Demand Draft (For Bank Loan only) in favour of “The Director IIT Ropar Hostel Account” payable at “Rupnagar”.
2) Depositing of fee only through SB Collect or Demand Draft (for loan cases only) as mentioned above is acceptable.
3) Part payment or split payment of fee is not allowed.
4) The students are required to attach the copy of the transaction slip through the given Link:

5) Also, the students are required to submit the transaction slip to the caretaker. If this is not submitted, it will be presumed that the fees have not been deposited.
6) Hostel Accommodation will only be allotted after the student deposits of the above Fees.

1. AFTER ARRIVAL AT HOSTEL
Meet the Caretaker after you arrive at your hostel. Submit the hostel fee payment receipt and undertaking form. The undertaking form is available with the caretaker. Then the room will be allocated and you will proceed to your room. The room will be allocated randomly.
2.You can buy Mattress, Bucket, Mug etc available at Utility Block, Main Campus or from the vendor at the premises of Brahmaputra hostel.
3.Mess Food:The Mess at Main Campus is operating presently under the ‘Pay and eat system’ . You have to buy coupons from the mess manager directly. The details are as follows:

2. GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS:
i. No Hostel accommodation is available for Parents/Guardians.
ii. No electrical appliances are allowed in the hostel.
iii. Available items in the hostel will be -
Bed (without mattress), Table, Chair, Almirah, Lights, and Fan.
