INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CIVIL WORKS UNDER NAIP
AT TAMENGLONG DISTRICT, MANIPUR.

1. You are invited to submit your most competitive quotation for the following works:

2. Government of India has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) in various currencies equivalent to US$ / (Rs. 18, 00,000/- INR) towards the cost of the NAIP Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation for quotations is issued.
3. The NAIP Project in Tamenglong District of Manipur state is being implemented by ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya, which is an autonomous society registered under the Societies Registration Act.
4. To assist you in the preparation of your quotation etc. (Please approach to the undersigned):
i. Layout Drawings of the works;
ii. Structural Details;
iii. Detailed Bill of Quantities, with estimated rates and prices;
iv. Technical Specifications;
v. Instructions to Bidders (in two sections).
vi. Draft Contract Agreement format which will be used for finalizing the agreement for this Contract.

5. You are requested to provide your offer latest by 15:00 hrs. on the 31st July, 2013.
6. Quotations will be opened in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 3:30 PM on 31-07-2013 in the office of the Joint Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Imphal, Lamphelpat-795004 (Manipur).
7. Cost of Tender Form Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five hundred ) only (non-refundable) to be deposited in the office of the Joint Director, ICAR Manipur Centre, Imphal, Lamphelpat-795004 (Manipur) by means of Cash payment/ Demand draft/Banker’s cheque payable at SBI, Secretariat Branch, Imphal. Non-submission/ non-payment of the cost of Tender documents stands cancelled.
8. An earnest money of Rs. 20,000/-(Rupees Twenty thousand) only for the Item No. 1 &
Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees Twenty-five thousand) only for the Item No. 2 to be deposited in the office of the Joint Director, ICAR Manipur Centre, Imphal, Lamphelpat- 795004(Manipur) by means of Demand draft/Banker’s cheque payable at SBI, Secretariat Branch, Imphal.
9. The Joint Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Imphal, Lamphelpat -795004 (Manipur) reserves the right to reject in or all without assigning any reason thereof.
10. Legal jurisdiction for all disputes shall be within the purview of the Courts at Imphal, Manipur.
11. Other terms and conditions, as may be decided by the competent authority will intimate from time to time depending upon the conditions and requirement of the construction of the civil works.
