(2018-19 Session Admissions) 1. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme for Admission to B.Tech. 1stSemester:
a) Online Registrations: 26.06.2018 to 28.06.2018
b) Seat Allotment: At 10:00am on 29.06.2018 (At individual college level, in which the candidates have applied for).
c) The institute will get the details of the candidates applying for their institutes in Fee Waiver Category in their login. The respective institute will make the Merit List and allot the seat of Fee Waiver according to the choice and merit of the candidate from their login. The allotment letter will be generated in the login of the candidate. The candidate will be given time upto 02.07.2018 to report in the institutes, in which they have been allotted seats along with their original documents and the fees.
d) Any seat remaining vacant under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme on 02.07.2018 will be intimated by the individual colleges on their websites and filled at their own level following the rules.
2. Admission to B.Tech. lstSemester (Other than Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme):
Online registrations will be done by the candidates for the seats remaining vacant (other than the seats for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) after second round of counselling by IKGPTU, Kapurthala for B.Tech.
a) Start of Online Registration: 21.06.2018, b) Start of Choice filling from 26.06.2018.
c) Online applications received upto 03:00 pm on 26.06.2018 will be compiled and the counselling for these applications will be held at 11:00 am by the individual colleges on 27.06.2018 in the order of merit.
3. From 28.06.2018, the counselling will take place on daily basis at college level in the order of merit and those candidates who will apply on a particular date upto 12:00 Noon, will be considered for counselling on that day at 02:30 pm.

IVIRSPTU Counselling Procedure 2018-19
(For Candidates) General Infonnatioll
a) In order to participate in MRSPTU Bathinda Admission counselling 2018-19, the candidates need to register themselves online through a link provided on University website www.mrsptu.ac.in.
b) The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility as given in the Information Brochure carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for admission in various programmes before registering online for admission and submitting the fees.
c) It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the programmes they seek admission: the correctness of the details filled with respect to region: category or any other such details for allotment of seat. If at any stage of admission procedure the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incorrect or untrue the admission to the programme shall be cancelled and the fees will be forfeited.
d) In order the avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. The University will not be responsible for network problems Of any other problem of such nature for submission of online application during the last minute.
e) The detailed rules and procedures of the counselling/admission shall be notified at the time of start of counselling process. This information brochure shall be treated only as a general guideline.

Instructions to the Colleges for Online Direct Counselling for Academic Session 2018-19 I. Candidate is 10register online by paying online counseling fee of Rs. 20001· (Non-Refundable) at

2. Candidate isto visit the Institute in which he/she wants to take admission.
3. Application form of the candidate is to be filled by the candidate from his/her login and he/she has to save/lock it.
4. After saving the application form, the data of candidate will be displayed in the Institute Login.
The institute will process the case for an admission in the Programme/Course chosen by the student. The applications received in the institution login upto 12:00 Noon will be considered for preparation of the merit. Merit list will be displayed in the institution at 02:30 pm by the institute.

a student who has registered online but does not report for counselling on a particular day, his/her application wiII be considered inthe next days of counselling.(i) In case seal is not available in the branch chosen by the student, the candidate can change the branch choice by unlocking [he form (available in institute login).
5. Allotment letter will be generated in the candidate login after verifying the candidate's credentials by the Institute and uploading the following documents as applicable:
a. Matriculation Certificate.
b. DMC of Qualifying Exam (10 +2 certificate).
c. DMC of Qualifying Exam (BA/B.Sc.lB.Com.lAny other Graduation) d. Category Certificate (if applicable).
c. Aadhar Card
6. The College must send (he duly signed and scanned list of admitted candidates in each course on the date of their admissions inthe prescribed format given below:
