SERVICES DURING DROUGHT TO PROTECT AND REBUILD LIVESTOCK ASSETS BY PREVENTING DEATH AND DISEASE IN THE STREAM AND STRENGTHENING LIVESTOCK'S RESISTANCE TO DROUGHT, PROVIDING INFORMATION AND EXPERT ADVICE ON FEED AND MEDICATED FEED. The purpose of this document is to describe the software requirements specifications for various modules of Service 12 on Livestock Management Information System under NeGP-A Mission Mode Project. The SRS document consists of the collection of the requirements and detailed information on how the livestock management information system will work.
The NeGP-A mission mode project for service 12 on Livestock Management Information System aims to provide a web-enabled interface at the Center level for monitoring the livestock. Management-related activities at the State level, which will be the source of relevant information and an interface for providing information on State Services. The proposed system will cover 7 pilot states which in turn will provide detailed as well as summarized information on the availability of various livestock management related activities at the state level, expert advisory services on livestock management during normal, drought, flood and epidemic conditions and also information on availability of fodder and feed in the nearest region of the Livestock Farmer including various centrally sponsored and central sector schemes.
