1. The University invites quotations for Adobe Design & Web Premium CS6 software for teaching purpose. You are requested to quote your rates and the specifications in the format given below:-

2. The quotation should be marked “Quotation for Adobe CS6 - Due Date-06.06.13” and should reach at the address mentioned below through Post/Courier before 06/06/2013.

3. General Terms and Conditions:
a) Place of Delivery of the material is Central university of Punjab (CUPB), City Campus, Mansa Road, Bathinda and the delivery is the sole liability of the supplier.
b) The delivery of the material will be made within stipulated time period as given in the supply/work award letter otherwise will attract penalty @ 0.5% of the delivered price of the delayed goods for each week with maximum limit of 10%. In case of imported item, the supplier/their Indian Agent will be responsible for delivery of the material from the place of dispatch of material to final point
c) Validity of quotation shall be 3 months from the last date of submission of the quotations.
d) The guaranty/ warranty mentioned will be offered by the dealer on their letter head properly signed and stamped by the authorized person and dealer should share the responsibility for compiling this guaranty/warranty.
e) The CUBP reserves right to accept/reject any or all the Quotations at any time without assigning any reason.
f) The quotations received late or incomplete in any respect/ misleading will out rightly be rejected.
g) Prices of optional items should be quoted separately in detail with rate of each item per unit.
h) The guaranty/ warranty mentioned will be offered by the dealer on their letter head properly signed and stamped by the authorized person and dealer should share the responsibility for compiling this
guaranty/warranty.
i) Detailed terms and conditions of Guaranty/warranty should be attached.
j) No Responsibility with regard to postal delays due to any reason whatsoever will be accepted.
k) All other charges including VAT/CST, Excise Duty, other levies and packing (if any) payable by CUBP should be clearly indicated otherwise it will be presumed that the rates quoted are inclusive of all these charges and will not be paid.
l) The Excise Duty component (with percentage) should be indicated as the University is exempted from the payment of Custom/ Excise Duty and exemption will be availed by providing Custom/ Excise Duty Exemption Certificate as and when asked for by the supplier.
m) Special Discount/ rebates, whichever applicable, keeping in view that the supplies are being made to an educational institution, may please be indicated.
n) The 100% payment will be made through RTGS on delivery and successful installation of software in good condition and inspection.
o) Terms and conditions printed on quotations/ invoice of the firm, if any shall not be binding on the University, except those mentioned specifically on the supply order, and your acceptance of the order shall be construed as your agreement to all the terms and conditions contained in the order.
p) Electronic submission of documents (by facsimile, email etc.) is not acceptable.
q) The printed literature and catalogue/brochure giving full technical details should be included with the tender to verify the specifications quoted in the tender.
